Agree with you Shon, Several of my friends have feedback to me that Michelle does indeed have attitude problem. If she likes u, u got nice gown, if not nothing is negiotiable.

I am also in the process of shortlisting my studio. I have also shortlisted Frederick Lee, DV, Kai, Ted Wu and Tan Yoong.
What items are u asking to be included in your package??

I am looking for a package which emcompasses all these but i think it will prob reach about 6k or more

-MTM WD
-MTM EG ( Can Keep)
-MTM Men's Suit
- Car (Optional)
- Car decoration
- Flower bouquet and corsages
-Studio and outdoor photography
- Actual Day hair & Makeup
- Trial Makeup

I hope the list will not add on for me..only means more money

demigoddess1512, have you finalized your list? I am thinking to made appointment with DV to have a look. My colleague told me that the S$5k basic package include :

-MTM WD
-MTM EG ( Can Keep)
-MTM Men's Suit
- Car (Optional)

-Studio and outdoor photography
- Actual Day hair & Makeup
- Trial Makeup

Just that she topped up another S$2k for the extra photos. Even if you want to keep the WD, you just need to top up another several hundred dollars.

I had listed BV, Frederick Lee, Kai, Ted Wu out of my list because Frederick Lee & Ted Wu is very expensive & my Bf doesn't like the design of their gowns. Then, BV is mainly because of the designer who I don't quite like her even from the photo shown. Kai is not in my list originally..

Now, I will have a serious consideration on Divine Couture. Others: Silhouette The Bridal Atelier, Golden Horse Awards & Milan Wedding Collection (I like the photography but not the gowns).

HI Shon,

DV package sounds quite reasonable. and i simply adore their gowns..its really so sexy & feminie.
I also agree that i dont like BV desingers face. :roll:

i saw FL's package, they dont include hair and actual day makeup and car. that's a bit too expensive if i have to top up for everything. but their gowns are really bold & different.

as for Ted Wu,Kai and Tan Yoong, i dont even dare to arrange for any appointments coz i'm too afraid that i cannot control myself coz their gowns are so simplistic and elegant. but their prices are also very earth shattering

if all my preferred packages are too expensive, i will then source for other studio. have in mind a few such as Dang Bridal, wedding present, The Bridal Atelier.

at most i will copy the gowns design of those that i like and get them to do a MTM for me

Demigoddess1512, yes agree with you that DV package sounds attractive ... Their gowns & photography fulfil my requirements ....

For Ted Wu, FL & Tan yoong, they are too high-end for me.

:roll: Expensive + creative & elegant gowns. I think I prefer to have what DV provided...... everything with DV now...

Will keep u updated once i visit the studios. BTW, when is your customary. decided on your venue already. I am still waiting for my MIL to confirm the auspicious date for me.

Looks like we got ourselves fixed on DV.

SO is reluctant to accompany me to the studio, he says he would only go once i have confirmed where i would like to place my order. :note:

He says he doesnt like to be pestered to sign up a package coz those sales consultants are quite aggressive.

so i have asked my friend along to play my devil advocate. :choice: we are planning to pop by first week on April.

I have not fixed my customary date yet, even ROM has not too.. Me & my SO agree not to rush , we want to prepare it nicely so giving us at least 1.5 years to plan & prepare. Most likely ROM will be in July 2005 & customary end of 2005 too. I will ask my eldest brother to check for us the best date for ROM & Customary. He knows "Tong Sheng" quite well.

I am not sure it will be too early for me to look around for the bridal shops now. However, once I confirm which bridal shop to go for, i will wait for the promotion which help me save money.

i had my ROM already so my customary is suppsoe to be in jan 2005, but the only suitable date for us is 25 Jan (falls on a Tues) and quite inconveneint coz friends and relatives all got to take leave.

Congratulation, Demigoddess1512. You had your ROM done already and set the date for the Customary too. Envy you. I still have to go thru the hard period on planning everything ....

Yes, I think it is a right time for you to settle which bridal shop to go for now. My colleague who was a DV bride too said that they need at least 9 months for the MTM wedding gown & evening gown with no rush. So your customary is on Jan 2005, then it is better that you can settle it by April. So that, they got enough time to make gowns nicely to you.

I guess our heart has fallen to DV now. You maybe their next bride after the appointment...

Imagaine my SGD5000 is like MYR10,000. what kind of package can i get that with amount of money

Now KL..i guess that's abit too inconvenient to shuttle up and down.

Thanks for checking it out for me, Queenie. KL is still not bad, it is my hometown. I will visit DV KL branch when I am back to KL next time. I think the price should be cheaper.

Demigoddess1512, I think RM10K is really big enough to cover everything that I want in Singapore. Do report back after visiting DV singapore. Then, I can make a comparison with the KL branch when I go back to KL next time. Thanks!

Have any heard this bridal shop before? I called my ex-colleague this morning. He told me that he signed up with this bridal shop and got a very good offer for the package.

Seletar Broadway:
Basic Package: S$2988 (S$1240 for photography + S$1748 for gowns). It is included :-

- 30 12R (12" x 15") in album + 30 3R album for bride's parents

Fret not, I heard Divine Brides at JB offers pretty good packages and service too (even though they are not the same company). No harm popping by when you're there.
