My MIL-to be and fiance have kinda shortlisted these few hotels for our wedding banquet.
Any reviews? Thanks.
In the past, Grand Hyatt was very well known for their banquet food quality. That's why they also have external catering services. They did the wedding of the Melwanis. I'm not too sure about recent time but don't think their standards will drop so much. They have a few of the best restaurants in the hotel. Events management wise, cannot comment on that since the coordinators I know have left.
My cousin had her dinner at Pan Pac. Food wise was okay but event management part kind of sucks. It really depends l.ah. Her problem was with the montage screening. It started, then stopped. Then the music and screening wasn't synchronised and then stopped again. Then there was an awkward silence. Then after some adjustments and running around here and there, it finally started.
My wedding was held at Grand Hyatt 3 years back...we took the grand ballroom 1 & 2 as we had like 600 guests...the co-ordinator was patient and very compromising and throw in a lot of extras..(they will not give unless u ask)...you can look for mandy (i m not sure if shes still there) if you are interested to go down for a no obligation consultation
Food wise was good and very consistent though...so far no complaints from my guest....![]()
Thanks,ladies.
So far we have only met Marriot. Christine has been professional and following up with me. Will be viewing Panpac and Hyatt this weekend.
