Hi lauren,
Burkill Hall at the Botanic Gardens.
It has a panoramic view of the magnificent Gardens.
 I think Sentosa is a very good place for outdoor shots coz they have everything, from beaches to historical sights.
My husband recently asked me if I would wish to have a second photoshoot, only this time somewhere abroad. What do you folks think? I wonder if what sort of arrangements/preparations this'll entail?
Hi blossomcharm,
So nice of your hubby. If I were you, I will do a totally diff thing from local PS. Like winter/autum scenery fotos....wow...the scenery is to die for![]()
But to engage a pro photographer u need to pay quite alot. Best is get a frd who is much into photography...Go have a good time and take many pretty shots...hehehehe![]()
blossomcharm u are one lucky gal
i took my pics at labrador park (abandon camp site just before the park) and Eton Hall (along Alexandra Rd).
Thank you for your input, coyote and poolgal!I had my photoshoot in Singapore too in the past. All those locations are very pretty, but of course, the bride was (and still is) prettier!

Unfortunately, my husband is the friend who's into photography, hence we probably won't be able to cut back on that aspect, unless we leave him out of all the photos!Still, we've approached the same photographer who took our wedding photos in the past, and all appeared ok, though we've not actually got down to the nitty-gritty details.
Some of the folks we spoke to mentioned Bali, Thailand, and other tropical countries. These locations are very lovely, but I'm more interested in something totally different from what we have locally, since I've already done Singapore once.
We had plenty of fun exploring various locations, coming up with some completely outrageous ones such as emperor penguins in the Antarctica (his idea, not mine) and Eygptian pyramids. I've always harboured a fascination for Eygptology. Still, I can't imagine tramping through all those sand and dust, and under blazing sun in a gown. Not to mention that pyramids are tombs after all.
Still, the likelihood is that we'll settle on my alma mater in UK. There's an absolutely magnificient castle there. We're thinking of late autumn, which means that we'll have a year to get all arrangements in order and harass my skin into good shape. It's actually quite exciting, almost as though I'm reliving all those pre-wedding preparations all over again!

that's perfect!!
Hubby and I are looking for off-the-beaten path local locations for our wedding photoshoot. We're considering abandoned railway tracks and even the cemetery. Rustic and old world charm is what we're aiming for.
