thanks... yep getting married real soon...

i guess i've less than 100 guests.... so its still managable for me. i dont like it to be too overwhelming and too busy... prefer something slow and easy...

I think the site that peaberry mentioned was meant for ideas only I love Martha Stewart's magazine! They are full of beautiful ideas! The library has quite a number of books about decoration, favors, etc.

    hiya,

there already is an existing thread on Wedding Favour so i've merged your thread with it.
in the future, before posting up new threads, do use the seach function (located near the top of the page) to see if there's anything similar already.

I am also looking for red&gold chopsticks that can be engraved.
so far, here are the one that i found :
    www.koool.com.sg
    www.myweddingfavours.com
    mylittleweddingshop.com

    or probably chinatown?
lmk if you also find one

    Default Jordan Almonds

    Hi ladies,

just bought 15 pounds of Jordan almonds online. Didn't know where in Singapore I could get them.

Will pack them in 5s in little organza bags and gives them out as favors - 5 almonds to represent health, wealth, happiness, longevity and fertility!

    Hi,

I have not seen Jordan almonds in Singapore. But yes, they seem to be a popular wedding favours from the Martha Stewart wedding magazines I read. I think they do make a lovely wedding favour.

Just out of curiousity, how much does 15 pounds of Jordan almonds cost? Must be expensive

    Hi AhCapp,

apparently you can get Jordan almonds from Sins...but at a horrendously high price.

I got mine at quite a good deal - USD65.85 for 15 pounds from www.weddingchannel.com, and I asked my aunt to help bring them back for me since she's coming home for the new year.

I think the average price per pound is USD5! and 95% of the US merchants won't ship to Singapore. I mean, I understand why. but still...

We gave keyrings for our wedding (before the hype on couple keyrings as favours started). I sourced for it myself over the net and we went to Bangkok and lugged it all the way back here.

Saved quite a bit because the shop that brings it into Singapore sells it at about $15 and I managed to bargain down to $3 with the Bangkok supplier. But still spent quite a bit coz we had 500 guests.
