Havent heard of that, but we just give it a try since it save us the hassle of looking for a decent wedding car. Furthermore they provide a chauffeur too, so pretty convenient for the driver to drive the car to SO place and return to Fullerton where we have our banquet. And i think the price is reasonable too hth.

U can request to keep it there till the dinner end or till send u home (there will be extra charges)

your budget of $400 to $600 is for per day or u are thinking of 3 days?
what happens if you are using your own decor/florist? have to pay extra to collect car earlier and send to florit?

driver to take the car away is by the rental company? so there's no need for you to return the car yourself?

i'm looking for a BMW convertible, other than weddingcars, any other reccs?

u can request to collect the car the day before so that the florist can decorate it.
need to pay extra or not depends on whether how good u are at negotiating for it

car rental co. usually provide chauffeur. if not, they will be sending someone down to the hotel that night and drive the car away. there is no need to return the car yourself

for bmw topless, u might want to go mingle in www.bmw.sg and see if anyone is willing to lend.

I emailed willyoumarryme.com.sg and its been a week and still no replies from them. I'm striking this off my list.

We initially wanted to use our own car and drive ourselves but parents were against it. But managed to persuade them finally

Anyone tried using your own car as wedding car? We don't have a fanciful car to begin with but is it really worth to spend a few hundred on cars you barely use?

u can typically rent a mercs (driver included) for the whole day for below 400bucks i think. or even lesser than 300? u can pm me for the contact. renting a car separately is def cheaper than taking those packages.. n nicer decor too

We didn't have a wedding car because we didn't do the jie xin niang thing, and everything took place at the hotel: tea ceremony, wedding ceremony, wedding dinner. Not that we wanted to save money, but seriously, the car would've just been parked outside the hotel from morning till night!

I agree, hence we're doing away with the car as well. We can borrow a BMW or Merz or a Ferrari from relatives/friends but after some thought, we decided to use our own car which is a Honda Civic. Though it isn't a 'premium' car; it's ours and hold special memories. So we're just gonna use that and save hundreds from renting a car and keep our friends from losing sleep if we borrow from them.

True story: my friend borrowed his boss' luxury car for a wedding car - and managed to dent the bumper by parking badly even before the wedding started...

Personally, I wouldn't lend my car to a friend unless I know they're the really really really really safety drivers type or can afford to pay for the damages/repairs if accidents happen! I don't see why I should claim from my own insurance company as this will defintely increase my future premiums.

So even when I got offers from cousins and friends, offering to lend us their prestigious cars, after some thought, we decided not to take up their offers as we didn't want them to get nightmares or sleeplessness nights!

We're even toying with the idea of hiring a London or Maxi cab as ours is just gonna be 1 trip, heard this cost around $80 which is still quite alright. Our only worry is the cab may not turn up on the day!
