i want to play Cher and Rod Stewart's "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" at my wedding but then maybe not, the tune is lovely but the lyrics are pretty funny

    "Bewitched, Bothered & Bewildered"
    (feat. Cher)

    [Rod Stewart]
After one whole quart of brandy
    Like a daisy I awake
    With no Bromo Seltzer handy,
    I don't even shake.

    [Cher]
    Men are not a new sensation;
I've done pretty well, I think.
    But this half-pint imitation
    Put me on the blink

    I'm wild again
    Beguiled again
    A simpering, whimpering child again
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered am I

    [Rod Stewart]
    Listen, baby
    I couldn't sleep
    And wouldn't sleep
Until I could sleep where I shouldn't sleep
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered am I

    [Cher]
Lost my heart but what of it?
    My mistake I agree.

    [Rod Stewart]
Oh she's such a laugh, and I love it
    Although the laugh's on me.

    [Cher]
    Oohh I'll sing to him
    Bring springs to him
And worship the trousers that cling to him
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered am I

    Oh you're so cute
Oh she's kept enough, she's slept enough
And yet, where it counts she's adapt enough

    [Cher] Aha

    [Both]
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered am I

    [Cher]
When he talks he is seeking
Words to get off his chest.

    [Rod Stewart]
    Horizontally speaking
    She's at her very best.

    [Both]
    Oh we've seen a lot
    I mean a lot
And now we're like sweet seventeen a lot
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered am I
    Oh, we're vexed again
    Perplexed again
Thank God we can't be over-sexed again
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered am I

Any recommendation for Jazz songs? or any favourite Jazz singers to recommend?

I have been to wedding dinners where they played classical music and someone commented that its not appropriate, another played home-made love songs and they say it sound like radio.

So I think its rather important nowadays to play the right music for dinner. People starts to notice the music in the background!

My all-time favorite wedding song although a bit oldie

    Short audio clip here: http://entertainment.msn.com/album/D...6&album=442815

    the lyrics:

    Love's Grown Deep
    Kenny Nolan

    I love you, so much
    Somewhere back in time
You became a friend of mine
And day by day we've grown a little closer
You're my spirit to be strong
A friend when things go wrong
So I've written down these words to let you know

Loves grown deep, deep into the heart of me
You've become a part of me
Let us plant the seed and watch it grow
Loves grown deep, deep into the heart of me
You've become a part of me

As we travel down the road
    Side-by-side we'll share the load
Hand-in-hand we'll see each other through
    Though weve only just begun
    Let's count our blessings one-by-one
I thank God for life, I thank God for you

Loves grown deep, deep into the heart of me
You've become a part of me
Let us plant the seed and watch it grow
Loves grown deep, deep into the heart of me
You've become a part of me

And as the seasons slip away
    Forever lovers we will stay
Together, do-or-die, with all our hearts

Loves grown deep, deep into the heart of me
You've become a part of me
Let us plant the seed and watch it grow
Loves grown deep, deep into the heart of me
You've become a part of me

Nym, I was told that nobody will ever notice whatever you're playing at background during the dinner too by a manager at certain Disc station. *shocked* Was recommend New Age music too but i found it too boring over the time.

How about Piano? Kevin Kern - Best of Kevin Kern...This album contains some of his best pieces of music. Again, it is classified as New Age music.

Asarinas, Thanks for the link...it's a nice song. I quite like it.

Kevin Kern was my fav but kinda slow for dinner. Jazz will be nice to perk everyone at dinner

I think its more difficult to choose the right song for your montage (played before dinner), the first march in and the 2nd march in.

I'll give more ang pow money to someone who DOESN'T play that song at their wedding! No offence, but it has to be the most boring, hackneyed, played song at wedding dinners.
