she quoted me $2688 if i dont want MTM gown. Problem is I need 2 ballroom gowns cos my wedding day will be split into two thats why she quoted me higher and i couldnt find any evening gown i like hence the MTM option.

Me and bf tried negotiating but i think because we were first timers we didnt know how much we could negotitate.

Ic. From what I know, usually hard to negotiate down the digits. But you can bargain for more items. Bridesmaid dresses, men jackets, etc. See what you need more from them.

Of course, there are also other BS around to compare before deciding

I personally quite scared of MTM. What if it turns out not what I envisioned and I aint got more time? But then, I've seen beautiful MTM gowns.

ya i heard that MTM is quite risky..thats why for WG i will be taking OTR. but i do have a specific design and colour in mind for EG.. mb *** talk to casey and see how feasible is the gown for MTM heh

I am also considering 3 other studios at the moment: Julia wedding news, Sophia and Silhouette but heard Silhouette will definitely be much pricer..

Finally chosen my 3 dresses from the package. In fact I changed my mind on my evening gown when I went over just now for my bridesmaids to choose their dresses. The last time I went to choose, the gals were not with me. Only my fiance. He only approved on "safe" dresses. But actually I wanted something slightly more loud...more statement piece. So I tried on one like that just now and I love it and the gals gave their approval. So I called my fiance and told him I've decided on another piece and that he's not going to change my mind about it. Lol.

I've learnt that it's best to have your besties there on gown choosing, because unfortunately, my man didn't make me feel excited about the choosing process. What he likes, I don't and vice versa. But with the gals, it was more fun and light hearted

I'm already beginning to feel the wedding stress now that it's only 7 weeks or so away. Everyday my mind is preoccupied with the preps. And there are other things going on concurrently. I'm starting to be nervous!
