been a while since i've been here and i'm now married for close to 4 mths already (so fast!!!)
Feels like it just happened 2 months ago. All those preps that we did was really worthwhile and here's spreading all the love dust to all you BTBs and hope everything is going well. I used Uncle Jais for my wedding and i only have good things to say about him and his works! Superb service.
He really followed what i wanted and it doesn't help that his rates are one of the lowest and yet he does not compromise with the quality.

You can also find a useful Budget List over at my blog too just in case you need it. It proved to be helpful to me to list down all the things i need for the wedding as well as the costs so that i don't go overbudget. hee

Hi do anyone of you here did/going to have a combined wedding at Community Centre? How much is the rental? do they allow caterer to cook there?

I'm planning for a combined wedding at a CC at Sembawang. It costs nearly 2000 for Sunday. They charge on a 12-hour basis so I can do a 4-hour Saturday, 8-hour Sunday split. The four hours is meant for the decor to set up their things. I checked another CC at Sembawang too. It's cheaper. I think it was slightly over 1000 but the hall is very small. Like two badminton courts kind of small.

The first CC doesn't allow the caterer to cook there. The other CC allows you to rent a small area just outside the hall for cooking. For first CC's case, we were asked by the caterer to book the nearest block for the caterer to cook.

Wow been keeping up w this thread for the past few months now! I'm a Feb 2013 BTB, InsyaAllah! Actually relieved that most of you have already stated planning way ahead, i thought I was the only kanchiong one

Anw so far for me, I have only booked my Andaman, which is D'Glamz. Anyone has used them b4? Meeting up w LePhotographe (LOVE their works as seen on fb) & SIDevents (deco - and catering outsourced from them) fr appointments soon. FH will most probably choose FarahDiana for his side, have not set an appointment w her yet.

Hmmm so anyone any reviews on them? (LePhotographe, SID & FarahDiana)
Would appreciate it so much if yall could share some

So..start early ladies! Hunt for those with good reviews and is within your budget. This thread has helped me ALOT in deciding my important vendors - yes i went thru every page of this thread 1.5 yrs ago.
