Hi cotters,
my SO and i just had our auspicious date counted and we had started looking for hotel but only Fullerton has the date available now.
I had always wanted to hold my wedding on a saturday but the ausipicious date given to us is a sunday.
Intercontinental is available for the same week's saturday and i really kinda like everything about intercon just find it a bit pricey.
But SO is quite a 'pandang person' and would like to follow the date given by shifu. Anyone had their ROM on their auspicious date and wedding on another date ? Me too, am quite affected by this issue. =(
While we were hesitating about fullerton is because the coordinator didn't give us the personal touch. She makes it feel like its a business deal and nothing more than that. While we been to intercon and four seasons their service were supereb, with that extra miles to go makes us really comfortable.
Any good coordinators from Fullerton to rec?
Thank you!
Hi all....
About a month ago i attended a wedding show at hotel re!
It was quite interesting as there are different themes set up for us to see, such as Retro and Enchanted....i also got to know more about the wedding packages.......
And recently I was told that they will be having another wedding show on 18 December 2011... And this time round they will be having Amanda Lee and other famous vendors ....
I think that it will be a good opportunity for couples that are preparing for their wedding to attend the show...![]()
Hi All,
If you are currently still choosing on which hotel should you hold your wedding banquet at... I would advise you NEVER EVER CHOOSE FU LIN MEN of Royal Queen Hotel.
I got married last year July and decided to held our dinner at the above mentioned restaurant. The reason that we have chose this restaurant is because the rate is according to the restaurant rate yet it's located at a hotel.
During the night, halfway through the dinner, my MIL came up to me and complaint that the waitress that serve one of her friends' table is super duper rude. They need to constant remind the waitress to refill the drinks. On top of that, that waitress anyhow refill the drinks. One of my guest is drinking orange and she went to refill with it with sprite.
After my MIL complaint, I immediately went to the manager (a sickening fat ass) and told him to do something bout it. In the end, nothing was done and my guests were very unhappy bout it.
The very next day, I received many complaints from my relatives. My cousins said the plates all are very dirty. My MIL friends said that particular rude waitress is not only rude and also unhygiene.
Anyway, there's too many incident happened. I'm sharing with you girls some of it. The most saddening part was the sickening fat ass manager didnt solve any of our prob yet kept siding his stuffs.
I'm not expecting a 5 star banquet service. However, at least the most basic and hygiene service![]()
I had my wedding (lunch) at The Gallery at the Grand Hyatt last November. I was very happy with the hotel and the service I got. If you are looking for a place that offers a menu that is more uncommon but yet still chinese sit-down style, this is a place BTBs can seriously consider.
After our wedding, we received so many positive and wonderful feedback from our guests on how nice the venue was, and that the standard of the food was great!
*Note: The price is higher than other hotels, but I think it was money well-spent for the quality that we got.
I enquired a few boutique hotels for their wedding quotation and I find them quite competitive know. They also offer a lot of special ideas, different from the mainstream hotels that are so expensive & same same.
I tried M hotel, Wanderlust & Hotel Re!, the few colourful ones. But since i like outdoor weddings, i like Re more. They have cocktail weddings & all so very special although i think my future mother-in-law will hate standing up. hahahahah!
Also, contingency plan must be well thought of, anyone have any suggestions of 'special' but budget weddings?
Hi btbs! Did any of you go to the Kriston Wedding Show at Singapore Flyer recently?
Anyhoo, I received a $200 discount voucher valid for Kriston's Cocktail, Buffet Spread, Seminar Package and BBQ Menus. $200 may not be alot, but at times like this, every penny counts! Haha. If any of you intend to get the buffet spread for your guests from Kriston, do let me know (or email me at mas_querade_zwn@hotmail.com) as I dont think i'll be using this voucher..
Thanks!~
