Queenie, my actual day phototgrapher was Choon Huat from Fast Soup Photography. Very nice guy, and he does journalistic photos too. Web link If you are contacting him, you can directly quote my name and my occupation.... I believe he still remembers me.

Another photographer who have done 2 of my friends' wedding is Monica Eng from VividShots. She did my photo-montage for my wedding dinner Web link

    Hi all,

I have gotten a package from O studio... I do quite like Jaki's moody shots...the brides all look like models in the photos.

    Hehe..

    Any comments on that studio?

My fiance and I just didn't want studio photos. I mean, studio photos look lovely and all, but all we wanted was a couple of nice portraits of ourselves on our wedding day, to provide an accurate, "warts-and-all" record of the actual event.

So since we were on a tight budget, we decided to save the (substantial) cost of studio pix and spend it on doing up our home instead. And unlike studio pix, which sit in a cupboard after the first year, my flat is something I enjoy every day.

We engaged a good photographer for our wedding day, and told him what we wanted, and we were delighted with the portraits he took of us.

My photographer was good, but my friend's photographer was EVEN better. My friend also didn't do studio pix. This is her photographer's webby:

This photographer looks ultra-geeky, but she has a real eye for detail and I would've used her if my photographer hadn't been my hubby's friend.

Hi, demigoddess1512. What is the difference of Journalistic Wedding photography & normal wedding photography? Why the journalistic is more expensive ?

I have the same concept like what you girls think of too.... However, I still need some studio photos..... but I will get more outdoor photos definitely....

I am more interested in the ROM photography package.

    Everafter

This photography is good too. My bf's friend took a package to Penang and paid S$2.2K only. The photos are very nice. Click on the "overseas photography". The photos are taken in Ferlinghi, Penang. Very nice.

When u enter the website, you can see Jes & Serene's photos inside the sea & beach. These are taken in an island of M'sia. Package costs about S$2.8K including accomondation & transportation.

    HI Shon,

from what i know, Journalistic photos are photographs that link and tell a story of an event whereas normal photographs are just snapshots of everywhere without a link.

Pls correct me if i am wrong....
    Nice photographs,
i always thought that pangkor laut would be a nice place to take photos but its so costly to stay there

    Dear Shon,

I am not too sure about photgraphy package so i wouldnt know if its expensive or not. but generally..i feel that wedding photos seems to be very expensive everywhere.

2.8k includes accomodation for how many days. does it include the cost of engaging the makeup artiste and also the photgraphers as well as your accomodation.?? if all the components are in...then i would think its quite ok??

I did my ROM package with him. u may wish to check our his package and compare
