Affordable Bridal Package and Wedding Banquet

Hi, I need some help here. I am planning to do my customary wedding, including photography and banquet next year. I was wondering if it's too late now to start planning. We are at the stage of fixing a date for the wedding. I have been reading up/ surfing the net on SingaporeBrides, Weddings etc but would appreciate if I can have some feedbacks or recommendations on affordable and acceptable wedding packages (below 3k) and banquet venue (around 700-800 per table) and information on how to start planning effectively cos I dun even know where to start. Thanks all in advance for sharing your experiences. :p

and hotel you can try furama hotel..


the ballroom very grand and food not bad,i like the shark fin and steamed fish!!..(2 of my frens took recently)price range at $600 onwards and free flow of red wine and drinks...

i think furama wedding banquet is worth the money...my two frens hold one at furama city center(chinatown) and other one at furama riverfront.both deco and food is good..as they got free flow...if no much money to spare on the wedding banquet...furama is good enough!!

and both ballroom can hold up to 40tables.....i love the gift after wedding dinner.so cute!

Furama is a 4 star hotel if I'm not wrong. If you don't have 35 tables, you may opt for Jupiter ballroom which can accomodate less tables. HTHS!

May i suggest that u negotiate for free flow of beer if possible, so as to cut down the unpredictable cost incurred during the banquet.

thanks girl for your info. But I heard from a friend of mine that her friend held her wedding banquet at Furama (But I don't know which furama though. There are 2 right?)
She mentioned that the march in area is a "L" shape and hence need to do a detour before facing the people. Is it true?

for outdoor, u can try mandai orchid garden.... check singaporebrides forum for their reviews.....
some said its good, some say not. SIngapore Art Museum also a good place, $800 rental for its glass hall for about 5 hours i think... and you can get your own caterer.... Rasa Sentosa also have outdoor beach wedding package...

if it is indoor, how many tables you want to hold?
if 10-15 tables, you can try Carlton hotel, they have this Promise of Love package which can accomodate 10-15 tables in one of their small ballroom.
you can also check with Dragon Gate, Paramount, They have smaller ballrooms for 10 - 15 tables too.

for indoor, we intend to hold max 15 tables but my husband prefer sometink special, he wan to hold it outdoor as buffet style....i having headache as most of the pl is v.xpensive ***...
