Rom High Tea Vs Lunch

Gals,

i deciding between a ROM Lunch vs a High Tea reception.
which is better considering its going to be a weekend


Also anyone stubmled upon some value for money packages offered by Hotels or Restaurants
all the quotations that i seem to be getting seem so overpriced.

can check out the Garden Suite by oriental hotel.
it's really lovely, it was one of my top choice !
if it's in the day, the place is absolutely 'outdoorish'
you can even have an outdoor solemnisation (they have a little bamboo garden)

conrad has a nice place for ROM high tea or lunch too!

i agree with Conrad but so expensive and i dont want to spend so much on solemisation only
for buffet lunch - they are quoting me 70+++

What is your budget and how many ppl are you looking at?
I just place a booking with Legends at fort canning. I think they have different packages. Some as low at $38 per person.

Mine is a hard copy. I could check for you if I have saved it in my lab top back home. Let you know tmr? But the one that I had sign up for is $38 per pax, i am doing the solemnization for 70 pax . The VIP Table will be decorated. As for the guests table all will have table decorations but simple ones (ie. candle bowl that kind). The solemnization table cost $168 though. Separate from the tables. Its a buffet selection.( so it will be extra $168 )

Hi demigoddess, u can try secret garden.. I remembered it being a very nice outdoor venue when i was preparing for my ROM 1-2 mths back... Alternatively, u can try Orchid Country Club too...As for hi-tea or lunch, i will compare the prices and variety of the menu before deciding if i want hi-tea or lunch...

i have considered secret garden too. the only down side is the menu. the venue is gorgeous
its too english for my in laws. they prefer international buffet or chinese

i am quite peeved with Gallery Hotel.

I received a quotation from them. they quoted me 5000+++ for a buffet lunch and solemnisation

However when i read the threads from Singapore brides.
I learnt that my similar package was quoted at 3 different price of 38+++, 40+++ and 45+++

anyone received similar quotes from Gallery Hotel. Able to send me your proposal for reference
