Meeting Parents

Hey brides,

wanted to ask about parents meeting up before the wedding.
when is an appropriate time frame?
how did u guys break the ice between the awkardness?

It was a simple one. For me, SO and i just fix a day and time where everyone is free. No particular time frame. I remember that day was Sun evening, SO and my mother-in-law just come to my house with some gift. We introduce each other parents and they start talking. I think maybe my mum is talkative, therefore i don't need to do much and moreover, they had been through this, therefore everyone went smoothly.

We organised a casual weekend lunch at a restaurant. Easier to have something else to focus on i.e. the food LOL
