Wedding In Sydney

My fiance is Aussie..we been engaged for 3 weeks n dunno where to start from...any recommendations for beautiful wedding venues in Sydney? Or which bridal mag should I get him to send from down under?

I have heard that wedding receptions at Botany Bay near Kingsford Smith Airport is a nice place. Of cos Darling Harbour is nicer, but damn expensive.

Waston Bay - There's a restaurant there called Doyles that has a magnificient view of Sydney's skyline.

Mrs Mcquarie's Chair - View of Sydney harbour and the bridge. Always a favourite for wedding couples.

Bondi Beach - If you're the Beach Bum / Surfer babe type.

I've been to a wedding in Palm Beach in Sydney. It was held at this restaurant Jonah's. The solemnization was also held there, and then we adjourned to the restaurant for lunch. Really pretty - it was nice watching the couple take their vows with the beautiful beach and horizon in the background. But only suitable if you're not having more than say, 50 guests or so?
