Ya I read about this in the paper too, but that's funny! I was at a Lilian Too Fengshui seminar on sunday, and she said rooster year is a GOOD year for marriage~!! By the way Lilian Too is a fengshui master...

She even encourages her nephew to go ahead with his wedding next year..

She must be advertising the Feng Shui & fortune teller's business - yes you can marry - but you need to pick an aupicious date with your birth & time dates. Your 8 characters that is.

SO you will definately be giving a big ang pao to the fortune teller & for something so important you might want a 2nd opinion & so 2 or more fortune tellers or people in this line - will benefit from what she said.

Told my dad about our plans to go ahead and he seemed ok with it. While I'm happy to proceed with our wedding plans, I can't seem to dismiss a nagging voice at the back of head. Maybe I'm reading too much into the superstition.

OH, dont say that! Dont say yrself suay kow. Bai Wu Jing Ji

I'm interested to look out for Fengshui masters on house renovation too but my SO said he's not going to spend the money. I think for choosing the wedding date, I will have to seek advise from temple because I trust temple more than geomancer We've to be careful abt famous geomancer. Some of them are famous but not neccessary good...... that explains why I'm scared to approach one too even though I'm keen

Opps I didn't even go to someone to pick a date....we chose the date ourselves because it's meaningful.
