    Thanks Pris.

Lin, minimum as in no of guests or budget? We're still working on the guest list. Since it's just ROM, we do not want to impose on our friends and relatives. So it'll just be a simple ceremony whereby we'll invite closer people to witness the solemnisation. Apart from that, we'll cater buffet so that guests can mingle around freely. What I need is really to find companies to "dress up" the venue. Any rec?

To satisfy our desire to have a memorable and intimate celebration, we opted for a outdoor hotel pool side ROM cermony last year

and to satisfy both our parents, we will be holding a customary sit down banquet at a hotel this yr

so everyone is happy in the end

Hey peace, you mentioned that you are interested in an outdoor ceremony, perhaps at a chalet resort? I hope the mods won't me for this. Aloha resort is advertised on herworld brides as one of the locations to be considered for an outdoor ceremony. If you like more information about that, please pm me as I am in charge of the events planning for the resort. We provide customization based on your budget. Ok, won't say so much here, if you are interested, please pm me.

    Hi Custardberry

Sorry for my late reply.. I had my ROM at Goodwood Park Hotel. It was a high tea buffet... it costs us $40/pax, the service is great there and food excellent! I had about 60 guests.

The minimum requirement for their high tea ROM buffet is 30 guests.

    HTHs

    when is your special day?

    wow, indeed very rush!

hmm.. have u considered Carlton Hotel or Amara Hotel? I believe both hotels have ROM packages. It cost around $1k for 30 guests, somemore come with a free night in their hotel's room!

Is yours on a weekday or weekend? If weekday, should be able to fill your event in. Have you found your JP?

Dear Custardberry, would like to take this opportunity in saying Congratulations to the both of you. You might wanna consider grand plaza parkroyal hotel. The hotel near peninsular. There's a mini waterfall which is quite enticing & the restaurant cafe serves buffet lunch or dinner. Price is pretty reasonable too.

You might wanna consider Amara too. They have outdoor solemnisation package of $899+++ for hi-tea or $1299+++ for buffet lunch. You might want to check with them in case there's price difference. Carlton Hotel in my humble opinion has such outdoor package but their food :puke:

p/s - Individual preference may varies, apologise if I offend anybody.
