    I don't know if anyone here is still considering to buy into vintage timepieces. But whatever the case, please make sure that you do lots of homework.

    If you are buying for fashion statement and not so much into collectability, then buy what you are comfortable with. Because the parts can be non-original or changed and you won't know any better.

    These days, there are many fakes around that even with a fleeting glance, an expert may not necessarily tell the difference, until they hold it (weight tells) or scrutinize it up close.
