Is it possible to change battery at those shops selling watches instead of at Fossil Service Centre?

It costs me $12 each time i change. Very expensive and their batteries work exactly for 2 years and died on me. Tsk tsk.

I guess all product have a clock in them and once the shelf life time is up, then it will require new battery.. my Philips rice cooker, very lousy,,, the clock display keep on missing... send for repair many many times but still no hopes..... So regret buying....
