Just wondering who is having the constellation range? I just saw this range where the mother of pearl is just normal type, diamonds on it but there's like 3-4 colored stones and the chain is silver and with gold strips in between.... price shown on tag is $7800 if not wrong. How much % does Singapore retailers give for this? Or what is the % given for Omega watch?

Does Singapore carry Blue mother of pearl surface? Thanks!

I believe that most places are offering a fixed 15% on Omega watches curently, heard that they will be decreasing the percentage to 12% soon though.

Go to sincere they can give good discount. Most of their watch will be discounted for 35 + 5 % If u pay cash u can still ask for a little bit more discount.

Eh is their 'opening price' or price tag the same as Hour Glass etc? Pay cash = nets also? So what u mean is disc 35% and then another 5% off the disc amt calculated? Thanks

I dont mind paying cash if its cheaper. I'm wondering if i delay buying the omega watch, will the price keep on going up and up? I dont have time to go down take a look yet but I'm thinking of getting other colors of mother of pearl surface than the normal beige/milky tone. Too common.

I bought the my choice automatic MOP about 2 years ago...IIRC.. it was retailing at $3200 then. I bought it at about $2500. But that is 2 years ago....I think the price has gone up a bit since then.

Offer to pay by cash or nets. They normally would give you a better price.

i saw on papers cortina watch sales on papers........ 1mth back? i'm wondering if there's omega during the sales! However, no idea if the private sales u mentioned is similar to the one on papers. How do u compare the private sales compared to the normal walk in sales? how do u get invited to the private sales? thanks!

I just went to check out Sincere yesterday. Their discount is now fixed at 15% irregardless of cash, nets of credit cards. With effect from May 2008, the prices of the watches are gg to increase again

I only know that time managed to get another 5% more for normal discount when asking for Tag Heuer watch from another established watch company in SG.

I had a typo in my prevous post. it was slightly under $5K. It was a close-door sale with crowd control for I think UOB platinum card holder where invites were mailed out. It was held in their office space if I recognise it correctly.

I've never been to their walk-in sale, so i can't compare. If my piece of watch is now value at the price tag you mentioned, then I've saved cloed to 36% to what it is tagged at now. I'm happy; considering this is only less that 1 year ago!!

Do watch shops like Sincere and Cortina participate in GSS? If so, that's also probably why they would mark up prices in May besides inflation.

wow. below 5k! If follow the price tag i shown for the other range, then discount is a lot! I think price shouldnt differ by a lot since the one u have also has diamonds. My dad is a UOB member...but now i cannot get hold of the mailer. think they treat it as rubbish... Oh Oh I think I better go apply for the card. Thanks! Next time if u go, bring me along

Hi Cotters, do you think Sincere, Cortina or Hour Glass will offer more discount during GSS? 15% seems abit little. I am lemming for afew designs. Would be great if we can get 35% off retail.
