Saw their watches at Ion too. The cheapest one is also around $280 + right? They have a small standee on top of the shelf to show which celebrities are wearing this watch now. The men's range look so ex too....woo....

the mini plasteramic going for $308
    the normal size is $348

they don't carry the one with crystals (which is the one i want)

the SA says their stock is from Italy, so not the same as the ones we see online

i guess i have to get from toywatchusa.com then.

    OT:
the floor of the shop is squeaky shiny black and can reflect and see my underwear. -_-
    (and slippery too)

Yes, they have very nice classy decor. Met one of the lady boss that day and she was very patient and nice to recommend all the watches to me. But i find it quite expensive, so end up not buying anything.

advise to the ladies, dont waste your money on toywatches.

i own a skull face plasteramic strap and it has received a lot of compliments but spawned many fakes and been nothing but a load of frustation

the day after i bought it, i wore it to class for 3hours, after class i pushed up my jacket sleeve and the watch fell to the ground. The rod in the strap linking it to the watch face had fallen out, and after putting it back in it fell apart again in the bus on the way to On Pedder. The second hand and black diamond had also fallen out on impact. I felt my heart broken for a $570 watch, thinking i must be very unlucky for out of the 8 pieces that were brought in i had received a lemon

they sent it back to hk to repair the face and rod for me, but did not replace the watch, which i saw had scratches and cracks already. Sad, but, limited edition so i decided even if i want to i could not demand for a brand new one

barely 6months+ later, battery problems. It would stop ticking for a couple of hours and start up again, then it started to stop entirely until i adjusted the time and tapped it to work. Miraculously, the battery gave no problem for a year or so, and recently it stopped, i had a new battery replaced, and after the uncle closed the back of the watch shut, the same black diamond dropped out again

so now i have a new battery and a non working watch again because the loose black diamond gets stuck in the hands

im sick of it, i havent worn more than 20+ times i think, because it is so brittle. even $10 watches are more lasting.

surf the net, read the reviews, so many complains of poor quality. Yes toywatch is a fashion watch, should not be considered for quality, but for the price, the quality is very unreasonable

oh good news, there's a standalone boutique to cheat ppl of more money. Im going down to Ion tmr

another thing, because of the cracks in the plastic on the sides of the straps, the rods have oxidized. And if i were to wear somemore, the plastic might give way, and there will be not enough plastic at the ends to hold the rods together

I think toywatch price is in the middle of cheaper and expensive brands. Like this new watch that I so love to buy it is just aroung $400 to $500 so still reachable huh. What you think?
