is that possible? I have watches with scratches too, but I always thought that it's not possible to remove scartches from plastic or glass surface.

but be careful, thinner cannot be used on plastic faces like those on swatch watched. I used to have a giant swatch .. the big face series one and when I changed my strap, the customer service also did a servicing for me. I dunno what he did... but the face become scratchless again.

Yes! Toothpaste works! Apparently it fills the gap caused by the scratch.

swatch should be plastic and they do polishing. during 1yr warranty FOC. otherwise they will charge. they only do their brands and CK (certain outlets) watches for the polishing.

However those with mid- higher end watches must be careful. one of my watch, burberry has scratches on it. being ignorant, i thought it can also be polished like swatch watch. i brought it down to the service center and was told that its made of glass or crystal which i cant remember. thus, it cannot be polished at all. the only thing is to replace it. replacing it is quite expensive and i didnt go with it.

With using of thinner on plastic, i think it might corrode the plastic. if really want to take a risk, try the side of the plastic then.u

Use Brasso Metal Polish. It comes in a tube or metal canister. You can get it from NTUC. Autosol works too but I find it more abrasive. Apply like a dip of either one and use a rag and polish it till the scratches removed, wipe off the excess and you will be a happy gal.

Watch polishing service by Swatch is now free. It doesn't matter if the warranty period is over.

Hope this is good news to some.
