Just came back from PC show...I'm actually wanted to sign up a plan for Galaxy Tab but I was so attracted by Playbook and Flyer but too bad both can't use as phone. Which tablets is better??
Singtel is giving out cozycot goodies bag for 1st 50 ladies but not sure is it worth queuing for it. One of the singtel retailer having different promo when I can get additional 100mins outgoing call.
playbook is for existing bb phone users
need to use the bridge to access the 3G (because playbook is only wifi)
i have Tab but i never used the phone function (because i think i would look stupid holding such a big device beside my face)
there is headset provided but i think it's rather troublesome
i still use my galaxy S to make phone calls and SMS
do not know much abt the Flyer but it does look not bad
specs also quite good
but me not really a fan of HTC
HTC flyer is on android 2.3 and the some tablets like Motorola Xoom and Acer is already on android 3.0. The processor is only 1.5 and majority is already 2.0.
If u can wait, u can consider samsung tab 2 in 10.1 or 8.9 inches.. They will be launching in Jul 11.
Not sure if this is ok for me to post:
My hubby just purchased a viewsonic tablet over the weekend (IT show) for my birthday but I realize I'm not that tech savvy actually, so not much use to me. (We already have 2 computers at home already).
Am selling it off at a discounted price. (Original price at $599, selling off at $500)
YOu can view the specs and stuff here.
