To check with you ladies, my friend and i are using bbm to text each other these few days. But my friend is in australia, whereas i'm in singapore. Is my bill gonna be ex due to all the bbm messages that we have been sending to each other?

hi luxury, you don't need to worry about the expenses since you're in spore. the monthly fee already covers bbm sent from spore to ppl own blackberry anywhere in the world

Dear Cozy BB Experts

got a couple of Q related to BB hope you can help me.

1. If i do not want to use my data plan to surf net, shoud i switch off the data services & just use the Wifi function?
I tried this method but I could not access the web.
But when i switch on both Wifi & data services I can access the WWW.
By switching both will I be charge on data?

2. Some times i could not forward Whatsapp message to other contacts. Y?

3. How to send meeting invited via calendar to other people phone.. Not to their mailbox.

4. Where to get good Torch casing.. The one i'm using is tearing.. even though it cost me $20!

For bb casing, you get it in bangkok when you are travelling there. Its so much cheaper. You can get your friends to buy them for you.

By turning on my mobile network and also the wi fi , does it make my whatsapp work faster on blackberry? Cause i realised that my whatsapp is always down, so frustrating. Whereas my bbm works alright.

I find that when my wifi is on, my whatsapp work faster too.

I have my Bold 9780 for 2 months now. Previously using Bold 9700. 9780 batt tends to drain faster than 9700 right? I was told it's because 9780 is "faster" so it uses more power.

Anyway, just few weeks into using 9780, I have problems with some of the keys ("0", "g" "1" especially) where just one press and a string of the number/alphabet will appear. I brought to Singtel and they upgraded the software but the problem persists. I was told by Singtel service centre that if I face the same thing again, I can ask for exchange at Blackberry @ Funan. So I went there today and got it replaced. Not brand new set but was told refurbished set. So long the condition of the refurbished set is not worse off than my current one then I'm fine to change.

So far, the replacement set seems very well. No more keypad problem.

My 9700 drains just as fast. I have to charge my battery at least one to two times a day.

i have bold 9700 with OS5.
now i have upgraded it myself to OS6

dunno why, since i upgraded to os6, the batt drains faster then os 5 before

ahya, just wanna share tips: dont install many application at one go.

before i upgraded to os 6, actually my blackberry was nuked. got dead-white screen after pressing alt+shif+del to soft restart
imo, it is because the last night before, i installed some games and battery save application on one go.

i had javelin before, the problem i had with it is the trackball, after 1 year, it will stuck, my case is i can not scroll up at all.
in my jav, if i installed any theme, it would operate slower than with the default theme

If i use bbm or whatsapp too much, my bb 9700 will drain the battery fast. I have to charge twice in one day. But on average, I charge once per day.

I can't upload photos to facebook using my bb 9700 nowadays, so pissed off with it! I tried switching it off and on a couple of times and it doesn't work. Hate sending it to the service centre as its going to be so inconvenient and all the waiting can really makes my blood boils.

majestic, perhaps you can try to upgrade the facebook? normally that's the case. If it's still not working after upgrading, you can try to take off the battery for a while before putting it back.
