I think the best batteries for Wii are still the Sanyo Eneloop batteries. I'm using it myself, and I recently bought it for this guy I'm seeing, and he's very very satisfied indeed

if you mod the will, you will be able to play *ahem* games. If not, you have to pay for original or 2nd hand games.

Not all will set can be mod, so if you intend to do so, better check it out before buying.

hello... I'm planning to get wii too
I duno which version to get, cos the US 1 is cheaper the disadvantage that I know is that there's no warranty right? But if i gg to modify it, then there's no point caring about the warranty right? Or there are other perks of using local version?
btw does anybody uses the wifi? Cos i heard got problems connecting to singnet which is wad I'm using.

Actually can just always buy a normal original wii, then use some software hack to play 'backup' games. Thats what my bf did for my wii. Now just need to connect a usb2 hdd to the wii jiu can play 'backup' games.
