Installation Of Cctv

hey

i need help here urgently!

i'm not sure what is it called.. CCTV or spy camera.. but i need a micro type of camera that can capture and record outside my HDB home. coz i've some irritating pple disturbing my family and we need evidence to report to the police!

pls advise me on where i can get installation of cctv.. or can provide me with pics of the cctv and prices pls help~! thanks!

cctv are not cheap, especially those that can record images. it can easily cost up to thousand dollars.

if i'm not wrong, pin hole cameras are cheaper. the camera itself is not expensive. it is the recorder that would be more expensive. you might want to try sim lim sq.

alternatively, you can stream images via webcam and record it into your PC. but it might be even more troublesome than the cctv, as the installation might not be so easy.

I think Cisco offers some package too, but I cannot remember about the CCTv part.

By the way, it is not legal to install a CCTV in front of your hse, as it is a public area. Especially when you have neighbours opposite your unit.

i went on a merry-go-round before, police wanted evidence but my town council objected to it.

conclusion: if you place the camera from your unit, it is not wrong. but if you were to placed it outside your unit, it is wrong. but if you persist against town council and install it on the quiet, as long as your neighbours do not complain, maybe you can.
