Default PSP Lite Or DS Lite?

I'm deciding between getting a PSP or DS Lite for myself. Looking at the games for both and I still can't decide! Any comments will be most welcome

hihi, it depends on what kind of gamer you are. DS lite certainly has a lot of cutie games. PSP is more for hard core gamer and not that many cute games. On the other hand, PSP can store videos and music but not ds lite. Hope this helps!!

DS Lite sure do got lots of cutie games, PSP got some nice cute games like Patapon and Loco Roco also.

It really depends on your gaming style. Are you a hardcore gamer? If you are, then PSP is better.

    hello

i've also been contemplating on getting a DS Lite. initially i was more interested in getting PSP, but now have decided to get DS Lite, as i see there are more interesting n cute games more to my liking. hee. i guess PSP is more suitable for guys as there are more RPG games and for those really into gaming anytime anywhere?

Not really true for me.. My PSP holds puzzle games such as Puzzle Guzzle, Lumines, Audition.. Which are hardly RPGs, (though I'm playing Crisis Core as well) I guess what is good about a PSP is that it doubles as an mp3 and mp4. It's dizzy to play games on the bus sometimes, yet to say on a much smaller screen on DS Lite. The price of DS Lite also seem to be dropping way faster than a PSP.

My suggestion is, get a PSP unless you have a strong liking for Nintendo games such as Super Mario or Sonic. =)

I got mine at Tenchi, $380 with 4GB memory card, earphones, casing, data transfer cable, and modification and games.

Dun buy at those 2nd hand shops, they sell very cheap but you dunno if they are really 1st hand.

    Thanks for all your feedbacks!

My initial intention was to get a psp after getting my hands on my bro's set during my overseas trip. (he is laughing that i'm addicted to psp now ). Spoken to a few friends to see if there's any good lobang and they recommended DS lite to me as it has more cute games for girls. My concern is what sayumi & yushan88 have mentioned that PSP can double up to play videos and music as well. Does anyone know if DS lite can be connected to TV to play the games on a larger screen like PSP?

I like cute games like SIMS, manage themeparks/ farms and cute RPGs which DS lite seems to offer more than PSP.

Hibernate: I've asked around so far the price seems to be 370-380 for 1st hand modified version, 4gb memory card for PSP lite.

I owned both a PSP & NDSL. Both in pink colour. Basically in NDSL, you get to play lots of geeky games like cooking mama, Phoniex Wright & etc. But the bad thing is that your protector screen get scratch easily & you may have to pay $7-$10 for a protector screen. NDSL can also go online to lan game with your friends. Can act like a PDA if you install diary girl. If you want to play those "ahem" games , you need to buy a external gadget to install. Otherwise, you need to pay $30+ for a game cartridge.

While for PSP, you get to surf online. Watch movie, play games. You need to dl the movie converter if you want to watch movies in your PSP. If you have more movies to watch, you may need to buy an additional spare batt which cost around $30-$40.New PSP slim can act as a controller for PS3 if I'm not wrong as I read from the website. If you want to play "ahem games", you have to mod your PSP.

    Hope this helps.

Hmm? I thought SIMS and all these can be played on PSP too? Having said that, a PSP has a bigger screen to play SIMS.

Recently "ninjaed" a PSP (not lite) from my BF since he don't play it anymore (he only got 1 game for it, geesh). Don't know about about PSP, but I think I will need to modify it and get a memory card for it so I can download games? Anyone knows where is a good place where I can do the modifying and etc? Thanks!

    Default Ds Lite!

Hey babe! I reckoned ds lite is more suitable for girls! PSP is more for guys, where they place more concern on the graphics and sound quality. Ds lite has more games for girls, and also, if you get bored with just pressing here and there, you can play with the stylus! trust me babe, you will not regret! :D

DS lite for me! I bought DS lite and my hubby bought PSP at the same time. In the end, he kept snatching my DS lite to play!!! He got another one for himself in the end. There are some games that are good for guys to play too.
