    ooh, that's sweet kare!
I thought it was a plug and play since it was a thumbdrive like item.

I think the guy at the store was talking crap, he told me it cant plug and play

Well, I think what he meant was that you have to first transfer music from your pc to the shuffle, via the USB cable?

I think so kare2711 I think that was what he was trying to say but i think he didnt put like how you do.
he just said "cannot plug and play like a thumbdrive. it is not a thumbdrive, must use cable"

He was like so impatient and stuff. Was quite peeved with him. bad CS!!!

You should go to one of the apple stores to get your Shuffle. Better CS, I'm sure.

i only knew ipod mini has dropped in price after i came to this thread. no wonder i saw so many people on the streets listening to ipod minis. i was still wondering "people are so rich nowadays. paying $458 for a mini?"

i got my ipod shuffle from my brother for my 21st birthday.. it's really handy and much less of a hassle than my discman that was also a gift from my brother 2 years ago...

i really love ipod shuffle.. it's so tiny and light and it can go everywhere i go.. if i had the money.. i would go for ipod photo.. the full colour one.. price dropped also... which is a good thing!!! but with my shuffle.. i doubt i'll need another ipod..

Bought an Ipod 20G 2days ago at Tangs. The battery life really sucks.. Can't even last for 4 hours which claim can last for 12hrs..

Is it manufacturer's fault? What can I do?

Roxyger, a few. Obvious ones are:

Shuffle: No screen. So can't choose which songs to listen to. Can be used as Flashdrive.

brandedcarrie: i got a mini ipod 4GB, battery is supposed to last for 5 hours. Sometimes it only lasts about 3 hours plus, but was surprised when it lasted 4 hours plus when I used it during a ride to from Penang to KL. Only complain i have against my ipod mini is that I can't see the song tittles in full, unlike the ipod photo, which scrolls and you can see the full song tittle. hope the info helps!
