DO NOT GO to Spa Elements at ION

Hi All

Thought I would share an experience with you all here so that you'll not go through such bad cs & attitude

I signed on a 3 times deluxe trial Facial package at about $180 with Spa Element at ION to try them out

Today was my 1st appointment and likely my last one.

Firstly receptionist and beautician was pushy with products and ampoules throughout the 1.5hour facial session. When you refuse to add on anything else attitude changed IN THE MIDDLE of the facial session. Extraction was shoddily done,I came home and still see very visible easy to extract blackheads on my nose.Skin did not have the 'after facial' smooth & clean feeling too.

They claimed to use products from Keraskin by Kerastase. I have tried their skincare before and know how it smells like. The moisturiser given to me at the end of the session smelled musky and extremely unpleasant.The smell was so strong that I could still smell it hours later after the facial. DEFINITELY not the signature scent from Keraskin.

After the session ended,a l.i.a.n.n.i.s.h looking receptionist brought me to a small room to talk me into signing further & higher end packages, when I refused she turned around,stomped out of the room and urge me to quickly settle the payment etc claiming that they are full today and shoved me with my receipt rudely following an eyeroll

With an outlet located at ION,its disgusting to see such bad service attitude & low spa quality

DO NOT SIGN ANY PACKAGES OR TRY THEIR SERVICES.DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT!

Babe, you can lodge a complain to Ion Management and they will take action from there. One of my friends complained about a particular shop in Ion and they are looking into it too. Maybe you can call up the information counter and get the email of the management in charge of the shops there.

YAR!!! Totally agree!!! I went there with the voucher i bought online. the massage was good but the place is so small and you can hear everybody and anybody talking outside ur room!!~~ and the ppl there is very pushy!!!

That was a very bad experience Renie. that is why i am scared of going to spa and salons alone because I cannot say no and afraid of them not being nice to me since I dont have any plan to spend a lot there. After reading your post it feels so right not going to spa and better buy massage gadgets. At least everyday I can use...

I cannot believe how some salons are like that. It's so wrong! Being pushy and then changing attitude if you refused the offer is really unacceptable and unprofessional attitude!
