Wanted to share my HORRIBLE experience about Wen Luxe Spa I had. I recently bought a coupon for Wen Luxe Spa for a couple massage and ear candling from deal.com.sg and went for my treatment 2 days ago. I only managed to get a slot 2 months after I tried to book cause all the slots were full. My goodness, it was the worse experience ever.

My treatment was cut short by 10min because I was late, but that I understood, so its okay, then the real terror started.
1. When we went to the room, the auntie massaging my friend kept coughing non stop while massaging, and had to leave the room for a good 5min to cough non stop outside. If your staff is sick, they shouldn't be working, especially in a spa when you will be standing so close to your customers.
2. This auntie had no skill at all. She was wearing a pair of gloves and basically just rub oil all over my friend without any proper massage technque. This is not the first time we went for a massage treatment, our expectations aren't high, but this was absolutely rubbish.
3. The aircon was blowing straight at me full on and my hands started to become very cold. So I told the therapist to turn up the air con temperature. The auntie then said in chinese my therapist to give me a towel because she can't work in a warm room. Hello? Maybe say it in a nicer tone? Its not like I want you to start perspiring while massaging us, but you could have said it nicer and directed it to me.
4. The auntie ended her massage way earlier than when it was supposed to end and just walked off without saying anything. There was supposed to be a ear candling session after, she could have told my friend that the other therapist will do his ear candling after she is done with me. But she just walked off and my friend was just left lying there with his face covered and wondering what's going to happen next.
5. When we finished the massage, we went down to the counter, thinking they will ask us to sign something or produce the voucher. We went down, and the therapist gave us the tea. After we were done, I stood at the reception in front of the 2 recep staff and looked at them. They both ignored me and continued to do don't know what on their computer and pretended to be extremely busy looking at the comp. I stood there for a good 3 minutes because I said 'So....?'. Then the bigger sized lady looked up and say 'Oh finish.' And I'm like, 'That's all? I don't have to sign anything?' Recep: 'No'. And then no bye no thank you no nothing.

Seriously, as a "award winning" spa, I would have expected them to have MUCH better service. This is really THE WORSE experience I've had in a spa ever. We walked out feeling really stunned and cheated but glad we will never have to come back again.

oh my god!!!!i tell you!!!!i dont have to go i already know that they are full of rubbish!!!!think they are just out to cheat money asking some aunties to just do the job and get the deal .com to earn money for them...i tell you if they are so good they wont use this deal.com thingy to give people such good price to try their service!!!i tell you things that are cheap are full of crap!!!unless you are really lucky!!i got this voucher from deal.com couple massage voucher think its $88 not cheap i was attracted by their spa pictures and i thought of trying..firstly im a married woman with family and kids,and when u have kids you will understand alot of unexpected things will happen..the first time i had to postpone my appointment cause my daughter was sick and so i booked the second appointment..they say they got ALOT of vouchers sold and so their appointments are super full..and so ok..i wait...managed to make another appointment..but i had to rush bangkok to do my work ..then on that particular day i really forgot about the appointment..u know "class spa" they will call you one day in advance to confirm your appointment but sorry!!!they did not!!!they call you on the same day and tell you ""sorry if you never turn up your voucher is considered redeemed!!"that day was a man who called me,but i tell you i can hear hes a gay!!cause he's tone!!i tell you !!you will want to slap him/her!!then i was very angry!!i said in the first place your spa should call and remind us one day in advance that we had an appointment with you but you did not!!just because we paid the voucher you gladly hope we didn't turn up and expect us to swallow everything down???!!!hello!!!this is singapore!!!we have rights here!!!you want to cheat go elsewhere!!!i tell you he's so rude i cant stand his stupid ah gua voice!!!!then i demand to speak to his boss!!you know what he said??he said "sorry our boss wont entertain this kind of calls!!!only we help him to entertain this kind of calls!!!"can you imagine!!!! then i said i dont care you better ask your boss to call me,then he said"ok i ask my manager to call you!"that time was march now april also no news!!i was really pissed ***!!!
what i want to warn people out there!!dont purchase service vouchers from deals.com and any other deals vouchers regarding spas or you will regret it!!like i really did!!!!!!!!!!!!
the old saying...cheap things are never good!!!talk about massage!!!
nothing is free in this world !!how can cheap things be good??!!!

i had my mani/pedi done there through a purchase of voucher. the service wasnt fantastic, no greeting, it was a GUY doing my mani/pedi...

they didnt hardsell, prob cuz it was almost 9pm, and they want to go home.. or their boss is not around.. cuz just a simple 'done', and they went out before me to smoke...

i swear il never step into e lousy n no standard spa again!!!!pain in my ass!!!! massage not gd!!!auntie chat on hp like nobody business and i can hear the staff talk and laugh louldly!!!no standard!!!really no standard!!!i cant relax at all!!!its really a misery!!!i felt like asking the auntie to go away and go hm!!

i joined this forum cause i wanted to talk about my reaaly bad mandi experience at wen luxe spa too! i bought a voucher from deal.com for some mandicure and nail art treatment. and this transexual guy attended to me. and started painting my nails after asking me what colour i wanted. after that he started adding weird and ugly colours and nail art on my nails without asking me what i wanted. my nail base was pink and silver and he added some dark purple and yellow BIG ribbon onto my nails. he didnt even ask me what i wanted and just continued doing my nails with a super dao face. i wanted to tell him that BIG purple and YELLOW ribbon is tooo gay, but i was afraid that cause he is a guy but dressing up as a girl, he will get offended. i wanted to just forget it and remove it when i get home but i paid quite abit for it so i just voiced out i want to remove the ribbons

Then he got a bit pissed i guess. so he just told me to wait. and i sat there and waited for another hour???? waited for him to finish mandi and pedi and chit chat and he didnt even bother about me until i went over to ask him if we could continue.

REALLY REALLY BAD SERVICE AND LOUSY TASTE FOR NAIL ART! ITS A SCAM PLEASE DO NOT GO!

I also join this forum because i wanted to voice out my bad experience from Wen Spa, bought a vch from reebonz $99 for stemcell facial with radio frequency. The facial was lousy, no shoulder massage! Came home and realise my face is loop sided!!! Before i left the place, a transexual ask me how is my facial, mine reply was no good. Then he look me up and down "Our facial is the best, a lot of celebrities come here for facial, we used stem cell pdt, our product got gems stone inside!' (Like i dont know!! i also uses Blvgari with gems serums)
My reply was I been to salon using stemcell product and it much better, he ask me where so i told him. He said '"Eeeeeeee"" I got nothing to say to that HeShe. He is from the trade, how could he make such remarks!! Totally unethical, unprofessional...When i look at his face also I think Eeeeeee, He is so self centred and the truth is this is my worse facial!

Can I say that if a deal is too good to be true, it will usually be too good to be true.

Avoid ALL discounted deals and vouchers if you can.
