finally, I decided to go ahead and try their facial and also body massage since I did not manage to get any reviews.

All I can say is, they really really hardsell a lot. And nothing fantastic about their facial or massage. Body massage was very very painful. I asked for less pressure, and was informed that I felt the pain cos there are cellulites, thus the pain

I have package with Zen beauty spa. Signed up package cos I have done my eyebrow with them. They really hard sell a lot!
I am not sure whether the package I signed up really saved me some $$.

The package I signed up cost $6000 and the sales said I could have 60 times facial, so each time facial cost $100? They gave me brochure telling me what type of facial they have. Ok, I find it ok so I signed up.

1st day, I went for facial, tried their "Oxygen" facial. They are using point system, so I have 60 points. The beautician told me to do my eyes and neck as well. ie, their facial does not includes treatment on eyes and neck. Being my 1st time, so I told them ok and with these, total points deducted was 3! 3 points is equivalent to $300! $300 for nothing special! I would say their facial is consider normal facial and the eyes and neck treatment was just like normal eye massage and neck and shoulder massage! These were usually included in the facial I had done in other centres?

After the facial, their "manager" brought us to a room. Trying to hardsell telling me to top up another $6000 so that instead of $300 per session which includes eyes and neck, the session would cost $150++. I was angry, telling them their facial was so normal and it was my 1st session and they asked me to top up! I told them off! I have other facial package in other centre which I think its more worth the price!

I have same experience with you Qoo. I think their price is really extremely expensive and their service is really nothing special! I am not sure can we file a complain to CASE so that others will not get into their trap and fall into their "super good" hard sell tactic! Especially to protect the elderly...

I had the same experience as Q00. I still got more than 40 boxes to complete. They kept pressuring me to top up more money. When I told them that I have no more money to top up, they will very hostile to me. I am in a dilemma now. If I file a complain to CASE, it means all my money will be gone (:

my goodness ...my friend had just got con into this as well.
told her to sign up a 5K package and FOC eyebrow embroidery and eyelid tattoo...but the fact is the 5K is for 50times of ??? $100 for each "coupon".

If its so worth the money...a facial or spa would cost less than $100 isn't it ? Think about it...all THE FOC had been added in yr so call package. Whose know...facial is normal...add mask..add eye mask...add trimming of eyebrow...oh got to add more coupons!!

Today she went to their mani and pedi and kana shoot with a bill of $425...ask her to sign up another 3K !! Said to transfer the coupon for this not worth it...

My friend told them no money and they ask her to deposit $400 and ask her to go back and ask people for money or some to sign cc installment for her...what the !!

This company is really out to "knock your carrot"...be careful!!!

Am so shock and angry when I hear all these !!

Your friend's experience at Zen sounds horrendous. Another spa on my black list to watch out for !!!

I'm just amazed by the number of times and cost these spas get consumers to sign up to. Given that there is only 52 weeks a year.... your friend will have to go for a facial session EVERY week for a year before she could use up her package and we all know that ordinary working women will not have the time to go for a spa session every week !

I can't believe the spa actually asked her to go and request money from others and even resorting to suggesting getting a credit card !! Imagine getting into debts because of spa packages ! That would be unthinkable !

Sorry with the super duper late reply. Nope, never try the service before signing up. My package is 10 sessions of body scrub with 10 body mud and it comes with a foc creative eyebrow for my mum. Total cost $1688. Their body scrub is of inferior quality, I'm actually bringing my own for them to scrub for me. The body mud is so so but without a usual heat blanket which I get from other spas. I agree that the quality of their products and treatment are mediocre. Just wanna finish my remaining sessions with them and go elsewhere to sign up for more quality spa treatments.

Yesterday we went down and ask the medi and pedi what did they do that the cost 400++
In the end she cal ==> spa for hand and leg 70+80, gel nails and toe 80+70, nail art and scrub ...and still standing there think what else to add in.

In the first place, when my friend sit down they started to apply the spa cream on her without asking and telling her the prices..when my firend complaint they said will gave her discount. And after service told her she will got the "discount" only after she sign up another 3k package? The 400 seems to be the deposit!!

I told them it was not my friend problem and the sales lady said will gave 10% I was like what !!! No, it is mistake done by you, so yr company so absorb this...in the end, the bill comes out to 200++...I am still not happy as first time customer no discount?

Or should I said VIP customer for the FACE and no VIP price for nails ?

They said they are different company !!
So all hear properly...the facial, nail and eyes tattoo ARE DIFFERENT COMPANY !!

Today we are going down to collect back the money as yesterday she said manger not in.
Told them we want cash and not chq and she said we also never pay cash .....excuse me NETS is not cash, then is what?

Even the 5K package am doubtful as I asked the manager what can it be used for she kept saying facial and I ask one time one coupon (100) and she said depend on what facial you used. And when I asked again can be used for what other, she said facial and I had to spell it out how about massage? As can it be share among friends as 50times of facial or spa is ALOT !!...My friens face got nice skin and she is very skinny... The facial manager said...oh 50 coupon is not alot IF YOU DO SPECIAL SPECIAL FOR 2 COUPON SO BECAME 25 TIMES ONLY !!!

I hate their hardsell tactic! Went to the Whitesands branch…lots of cock n bull. Paid $180 for a natural eyebrow embroidery . After they do one side, they started their nonsense! They took out a book n explained that the one they did is " natural one" and it costs $9oo ! As I paid only $180 , it will not be natural! If u r me , will u be fuming mad! ?
These ppl are out to cheat our $ .
Staffs are rude and fake !

I never heard of a spa thats never did a hardsell. So what I can share is the beautiful reviews I've read online. Unlike Citispa, Zen looks much nicer than Citispa because reviews are more positive even so there is still unsatisfied customers posting negative one. I am reading many reviews about different spa so that I will go to the nicer one. Still searching...
