    hi,
anyone has done facial with POLA before?

Do you think it's advisable to undergo two different facial spas (at different time, like this month at spa A, another month at spa B)?

    TIAs!

ya i agree that bioskin is hardsell to some ppl, but their treatments are gd n effective. recently they have a new mask in their salon, some whitening powder thing which is a acne mask & has to be mixed with water to form a paste.

its really gd. tried it for the first time during my facial last week & my skin felt so smooth after it.
I LOL when I read that you threw the money on the floor. Bravo!! I wish I have the guts to do that when I received bad service

I was introduced to the facial treatment at Supreme QX Beauty by my friend. As I haven't been going for facial for a while (last one was about 4 months ago i think), the beautician recommended that I tried their deep cleanse facial.

It was definitely an amazing experience as I was hooked after this session! After the treatment, all my black heads on my nose are gone and the skin feels lifted and rejuvenated. The moisturizing mask also leaves my originally dull skin glowing. Definitely going back there for my regular facial. Gotta maintain as age is catching up!

I've not seen this place mentioned here so I thought I'd chip in. I used to do my facials with my mum (using her package) at Jet Concepts at Wheelock Place. My mum has been with them since their Toa Payoh days which is impressive because she's the fussiest person ever (she's made beauty therapists cry before!). I don't know the prices but from experience they have never once hassled my mum to buy a separate package for me or even tried to sell anything to her from what I've seen. I suppose it's a place to consider if you want to spare yourself the hard selling? And I like how they always apply sun block for me before I leave! Extraction is horrible though...(maybe because I seldom do facials). Jess usually does my facials when I'm there, but they're all really sweet girls.

Now that I'm working I have a facial package at Sure Solution. I only read a lot of bad reviews about them after I signed it I was told it was a promo package ($888 now $488 for ten sessions, with some stuff include costing more than $1k alone) and was allowed to have a trial first. I really enjoyed it though! Somehow everyone seems really nice to me there :/ I mean they hard sell but they do so much less to me (maybe because I tell them outright even if I agree and they swipe my ATM card the transaction will be rejected). But once this package (and my VPL package) is done with them I'll probably head back to Jet Concepts and treat my mum to facials instead!

I bought a package from them around half a year back @$58each, they very hardsell and have to get like a package of 30times (10 x 3 different facial). I thought since it is quite reasonable i took it up. This is how it works, everytime you go there using the package you already bought, after you lay down the beautician will say how your skin need special two facial in one for intensive result, expect unpleasant response if you reject. 2 is therefore deducted...after that the sulky sales in the sales room will get you to buy products or add ampoules, at the same time reminding you how much the bag you are carrying cost or how unkind you are to yourself. The final straw was the during my previous visit, the beautician ask me to add other service as expected and i was told they will deduct two times. I agreed and to my horror upon signing of the card i was deducted 2 from each facial package and since i have 3 means 6times total. I was shocked but the sulky sales lady told me it's high end facial...of course must deduct more already very good price. She added that she don't know what was said in the room and that i am the one who don't understand. If i still not happy can call the beautician. They are all CHEATS...pls beware!!! I still have my package and therefore it's to my disadvantage to pursue further, but everyone else do not be con...

It was fun reading many experiences here and it is very helpful for me to read your bad experiences because I am very careful with Spa Centers because my skin is a litlle bit sensitive for a wrong product or treatment. Thanks a lot! Continue sharing hu.
