Default London Weight Management | Sensualite

I know its kinda late posting this up. Anyway here is my experience at the "slimming ctr"..

Initially I went there with my friend ( Bugis branch) to try out the trial slimming session at only em, $10 ? (I forgot, around there). That included a free slimming kit. I mean, it sounded so attractive ! Who won't be attracted ?

Anyway, we went and told them we wanted the trial. They then brought us to a room each ( they separated both of us, God Knows why) and started hard-selling. The woman who attended to me, Gina, was agressive. Kept hard selling and pointing out I am fat ( hello ?! I was only 43 kg then. Not that fat ma =( ). In the end, my friend and I signed up. $500 for 10 sessions.

Its rubbish I tell you. Each visit: 1 suana, 1 slim wrap, 1 cup of nutritional drink. In the end I lost 1kg. My fren lost 2 kg. Guess what guys ? I gained back the 1 kg of coz !

I find it ridiculously funny when sensualite changed their name to london weight management. Smart marketing move I must say. The word " London" may have caused manyyyy to flock to their places.

I really really hope this helps ! =D

yup. me and my friend went for a free trial, but we did not do anything and left the LWM.
they separated us too. and start to hard sell to us.
but we found them saying things differently after we discussed. so we did not sign up.
my friend's there, the girl kept saying she's fat! when she was much lighter than me. im lucky that the lady who attend me is better. but my friend side, the lady even like tell her i will be signing and asked her to sign up too. please! she didnt even speak to me before when she said that.

i know about the sentualite as well, so dont really interested. and heard a lot bad feedbacks regarding slimming centres.

luckily still got effective weight management program, allow me to lose weight, lose around 8kg le. still need to lose much more to my desired weight.

andrie : I've never been to any slimming salon before, but based on my friends and colleagues' experience, chances are, the consultants will try to promote their packages / products. It may be a good idea for you to go for the trial session with a strong-willed friend (one who can help you say no when you're being pressured into getting anything!). I think the most important thing is to know what you want and not to feel too demoralised when the consultants point out your physical flaws during the trial session (that was what the consultants at a local beauty parlour did to me when I went for a trial facial session!). Do keep us updated on your trial session, k?

    Default London Weight Management

    Hi cotters,

I went for a free trial. Then the consultant and manager spent more than half an hour trying to persuade me to sign up for a 2K package. Initially, I did not want it and told them point blank. I did not even want the trial treatment. However, they insisted on "giving" me the trial. During the trial, the consultant was very polite and gave me an "offer" - a $700 package. After the trial, I indeed lost 400g (although it could be the water I lost due to the steaming and thermal blanket that covered me for around 40 minutes). Somehow, I was more amenable to the offer at that time. The consultant quickly prepared the documents and the deal was made.

At first everything seemed fine, even my mother remarked that my tummy looked smaller. However, at the second treatment using cream and thermal blanket, the consultant tried to persuade me to sign up for another package. Then when I seemed uninterested (and very uncomfortable due to the burning sensation of the cream), she revealed that the current treatment could not help me to shape my body. If that is the case, why push me to get this package! Anyway, after the thermal blanket, I felt very giddy. Most of the staff members assisted me to a room to rest. Frankly, I was quite satisfied with their quick reaction. However, this changed when the consultant still tried to persuade me to sign up for the additional treatment. She denied that the treatment was the problem. Instead she told me that my detox diet (the plan recommended by London) was the problem and that I should at least eat some rice before going for the treatment. Fortunately, I declined the additional sessions because when I got home I felt itchiness on some parts of my skin and then rashes appear. I had to see a doctor about this

After telling the consultant, she promised to change the cream. However, I still have serious doubts about the treatment and the company. Then by chance I came across the following website:
    http://72.14.235.104/search?q=cache:...lnk&cd=9&gl=uk
Now I am seriously afraid and hope to terminate the package. But looking at the Malaysian consumer forum, the chance of London giving me a refund seems really slim. However, if I continue, would the treatment be detrimental to my health? I still want to exercise (during the detox diet and treatment, I felt that my stamina was weakened).

Sorry for the long post, I am really not sure what to do at this point I should have left my credit card/ATM card at home when I went for the trial...
