Hi all ,
Any SPAs promo going on now?
Has any one tried the spa services at the
"Ancient Art of Aromatherapy" located at Cuppage Plaza?

hey girls, i'm interested in doing a spa before i leave! my mom any my SO both want to try, so I need something girly and pampering, as well as something else that's romantic.![]()
From what I've read, Amirta, The Asian Spa and Spa Botannical are favourites? what are your favourite packages at these places? which massages do they specialise in? what else do you like?
Hi,
Never been to any spa. Can someone recommend me a few good ones.. and reasonable price as well.
Thanks
I read through the thread earlier and gathered that Amirta, The Asian Spa and Spa Botannical are favourites. perhaps you could consider doing the same and previewing the many reviews already written?![]()
Psst...... Xue! How about Spas @ Bintan ?Originally posted by ataraxia

Just 45mins away by ferry and i like the Spa at Angsana Resort over there. I remembered there is this couple package... about 2 hours long.. and consist of massage, yoghurt scrub and floral bath etc. Very intoxicating andfor going with your SO.
And you can also enjoy the sand/beach ... they even have manicure/pedicure by the beach.. Nice short get-away if you ask me.

sounds lovely!!!
shall suggest to the boy the next time i come back![]()
Nirwana Gardens at Bintan has a lovely spa -- Asmara. It's not quite as luxurious as Angsana, but it's substantially cheaper, and you can get a pedicure done while looking out onto a koi pond just a few feet away from you. The whole place smells so nice too -- the relaxing scent of essential oils wafts out to greet you as you meander thru the resort on your way to the spa. Bliss!
yeah second that. bf and i went there the last time round and it was lovely!! he wasnt used to the idea of taking his clothes off though,![]()
im interested in going for a spa but i dont know which ones are good and affordable. im looking for a full body wrap, massage and exfoliation. anyone know of any spas which offer those at affordable prices?
faeriedust: sorry, i'm not a spa expert so i don't really know. but i do know that Aspara/Asian Spa are having promos now - saw the ad in ST a few days back. perhaps you could give them a call?
everybody: please help! it's my SO's bday soon, and he's been wanting to go to the spa like forever. so i'd like to get him a spa package, and because he keeps saying i have to go with him () it has to be a couple treatment. i gather from this thread that Amrita has couple rooms, but does anyone know if a place like Asian Spa has them too? is it a standard spa thing?
(i've been to the Spa Botanica site, and it's been ruled out - i can't afford it!)
I really recommend a short jaunt to bintan for spas. very very VERY romantic!! won't bore you girls again, those of you who are interested can check out my review in the Bintan thread, CozyTravel
Saw their promo and went to try their scrub & mud warp. DON"T EVER GO THERE!!!
Its one of the worst experience I ever had!
The package i took is supposedly worth 180 normally, I paid 38 +GST total of 40 dollars.
Not worth it at all!!!
It took them like 5 mins to do a wholebody scrub for me. another 5 mins to put on the mud, another 5 mins to wrap you up. During the wrapping, some of the mud was already removed! Very slipshod job done!!
Some parts of the body were not scrubbed at all.
When I went into the steam room, my friend who went with me seems worse! I hardly see any of the mud wrap on her, a lot of skin was exposed!
Regretted paying for it totally!!!! Should have told them off, and refuse to pay !!
To think they want to try to sell me a 10 sessions-1,000 dollar package, and expect me to believe that things will be better for subsequent visits.
Sheesh!!!
Honestly speaking, if you want to attract any customer to sign for your package, least you need to make them feel good. Not some hurried slipshod work!!!!
If it's your first time, I recommend The Asia Spa at Fullerton. They have a couple package of scrub and aromatherapy massage at only $230/couple. I pretty like it and it's a lot more private and less noisy than Amarita. You don't feel too intimidating over there.
I recommend Asian Spa at Fullerton too. It's very comfortable and cosy. And there is a small jacuzzi in the room too.
The layout of the couple's room I saw at Amrita is not very good, and looks cramped.
