shoppingaddict : i'm only using anti aging serums now.my moisturizer is for basic hydration which is equally important as hydrated skin is more resistant to aging.i alternating between origins mushroom serum and sk2 repair c.you can start implementing 1 anti aging product in your regime, don't have to switch the entire skincare to anti aging yet because might be too rich for the skin to take.like anti aging eye cream since eyes are first to show signs of aging and maybe a anti aging serum.
you can try clarins multi active range ,olay total effects, regenerist range.

I am 26. Been looking for good anti-aging products to kickstart my anti aging preventive measures. Tried Neostrata & Shieshido but i think they are too rich for me. An overnight application will caused pimples/clogged pores the next day.

leechie swears by SKII... my dear friend intro me to SKII miracle water when i was in uni...cos she saw me struggling with pimples...after using SKII miracle water...leechie pimples all cleared up...

now i have moved onto SKII whitening range...n the moisturizer...advanced signs treatment totality is anti-aging...n yet not too oily for oily skin cos it's water-based...

the best part is that i can get 10% for all SKII products...anyone keen can pm leechie

C is also lower and more for protection and prevention than treatment. If you have fine lines already, need to go for higher concentrations in the Skinceuticals products (10% and upwards concentration of vit. C).

Another good anti-ageing substance is retinol or retinaldehyde. RoC retinol serum or Avene eluage are recommended. The Avene eluage is more potent and can help with fine lines and early wrinkles.

May I know where to get skinceuticals product in sg?

just casually chatting with 2 friends about anti-aging over the weekend and to my horror, i found out that both don't wear sunscreen on a daily basis!!

1 said her skin doctor told her not to wear sunscreen (don't ask me why .... i go to the same doc as her and i wear sunscreen everyday) and the other has naturally good skin and has freckles (she thinks they are cute) and likes to be tanned, so she refuses to wear sunscreen....

if sun screen is considered anti-aging. i use vichy uvactiv. it is very light n works very well as a make up base. but a tad ex for me..

by far, it's the best i've tried though.

i used a sunscreen since I was 18, because I wanted to be as fair as japanese ... did not bother about anti ageing that much then ... now I am thankful for that ...

I only started using sunscreen when I started surfing CC. I like to go sun tanning in my younger days too. So I guess damage has been done
