I have tried tweezing, waxing. threading and IPL before.
Tweezing: At times I will get back coarser hair, at times not. This is the best and quickest fix if the hair grow too obvious.
Waxing and Threading: I donno y but I get back coarser hair when i do these?! Even my MALE colleague pointed out to me!
IPL: I did IPL twice at Spa Infinity. The therapist said I should be hair-free after 4-5 sessions. However I still see same amount of hair after the 2nd session so I gave up. Tsk.
I'm waiting for Regina to have promotion on unlimited sessions now.![]()

Personally, I find Sally Hansen facial removal cream a cheap & hassle-free product to get rid of unwanted upper lip hair. Most importantly, its quick. The whole procedure can be done in like 5 minutes. So even when time is tight and I urgently need some grooming, it can be done straight away.
Have been using it for a couple of years, served me well so far. Have never thought of going for IPL or waxing...too time consuming for me. Unless one day they decide to stop the product line...or if not I will stick to it.

i read earlier entries on epicare - omg, that thing hurts me a lot! maybe i didn't apply it correctly but i was literally tearing when i used it. then i moved on to waxing which is by far the simplest and fuss free way for me to remove facial hair. have not tried ipl but may just do so since i saw pink parlour (my fav) bringing in this new diode laser that is not supposed to hurt. so may give that a try since my skin around the lip is so so sensitive. let u gals know how this goes!
I am going to Musee for upper lip IPL. But I have went 2 times so far only. It's painless. The light is scary to me though: Moments In My Life: Musee Platinum Singapore Hair Removal : Upper Lip IPL
what does ipl stands for? and what does it do?
threading is quite painful but it is very worth it! it is quick and hair takes some time to regrow. i did mine at enjoy by jean yip at raffles city.
