2nd this. Lancome Spot Corrector works! It does not really suit my super-oily skin but my friends and colleagues have tried it and I see very good results in a week or two!Originally posted by "bluebubble"

What kind of pigmentation are you talking about, Atypical? Freckles? Scars? Age spots? Uneven skintone? There are different products which can help with different concerns.
Facials have also helped whiten and lighten my freckles and general complexion. I love these because my skin texture is so much better than when I first started....colleagues have been commenting too, so I guess there's been a difference, visible not just to myself. :D
These facials also help firm your skin and help in the fight against anti-aging, so I guess it's a worthwhile investment. The Vit C used in the facials is much more potent than anything available over the counter, plus the ultrasound helps push it deep into your skin so it's more effective than applying a product which sits only on the surface of your skin. PM me if you need more details!
i hv lots of pigment spots all over my cheeks all thx to sunning myself 2X everyweek(ok i don sun just do my laps in the heat of day @ noon)! started on sekkisei sometime early last yr. been using it day & night & it does lighten my skin & even more if i live on the mask every few days(exhorbitant too), i do a weekly mask on sunday nites when i sun myself! my spots are still there tho some are turning lighter! been off the mask coz not been sunning but it really helps me lighten my spots.
Thanks for the recs eveyone! I've used the Lancome one but it didn't seem to work on me - perhaps I should try it again, this time more diligently!
oh... then chicken pox scars aside, does it clear the complexion and even out the skin tone ?
I'm always on the lookout for effective whitening... esp since my Sekkesei Lotion is finishing soon...
Tell me more.. thanks thanks!

atypical, i'm not sure about the *best* but if u're on a budget and want to consider drugstore whitening products, the whitia skincare series is supposed to be really good; formulated in the same shiseido labs that do the uv white series but with different concentrations of active ingrediants...but i've heard that it's not *that* much different and lots of uv white users are switching to the more affordable whitia
Hey Stella, I don't see any pigmentations on your face...no wonder those products don't work!Originally posted by "atypical"

I prefer whitening products from Japan. Somehow they work better. Have u tried Cosme Decorte's white science series? The Vit C lotion is better than Sekkesei IMO. But it is a tad more sicky. And I love the Vit C powder. Used both together and you shld see a difference. But seriously, I don't think you need any more whitening stuff on your face dear.

Yuck yuck, I HATE liver....of any kind!
I think it's synmetry.
Earlier on, I think it's spelt decolletage.
