kose has a great whitening line; second the sekkisei
anyway i don't use whitening products regularly anymore, the chemicals makes my skin sensitive and i'm much happier with regular skincare on a daily basis. use whitening 1-2x a week
just wondering is the illuminator the whitening product that needs Dr Tan's prescription before u can buy?Originally posted by Joce7878
ONE and ONLT ONE product works for me... have been using it for almost a yr now...Derma RX Illuminator. It not only whitens/brighten, but most importantly evens out skin tone. Used to use it a few times a wk, now I just maintain.. using it once a wk only. Good stuff! *wink to Pan*
Just went to beauty image yesterday & found that they have many different kinds of whitening products.. Sounds interesting too..![]()
Not mask but rather exfoliator... All time favourite - Never a dull moment (Origins)Originally posted by sweetmango
A good brightening mask adds radiance to dull skin, hydrates it and leaves your skin looking clearer. So, what is the best brightening mask you've ever used?
My all-time fave is Kose seikkisei lotion used with paper pill mask(looks like a pill, you soak it and it becomes a sheet mask) which never fails to hydrate and leave my skin looking brighter, clearer instantly!! Another recommendation I have would have to be Dermalogica's multivit recovery masque, leave it on for 10 min or so and you'll find your skin softer to the touch and more radiant!![]()

I'm quite happy with my "fairness" these days so I just use the Rejuvenator to maintain.
Pricey stuff, but worth it. And yes, this is the one that's only available through prescription.
oh, there's one by l'oreal too, isn't it? triple something. my mom used that for some spots on her neck and it really did fade them away. not sure if it's totally gone by now, but it was certainly a big reduction.
I think you are referring to the triple whitening essence that comes in a long slim tube right? I did try that before but i don't think it helps me.. I tried to use it for lightening of acne scars but don't think it helps. But I think it can use to lighten freckles or pigmentation..Originally posted by claypot

Thanx everyone for all the replies! I've tried the L'oreal triple whitening before, but it was the older version. I felt that it was abit too oily for my preference and it caused me to breakout.
I was thinking abt the Sekkisei lotion too, but i think i heard some people breaking out from it? And is the lotion very oily? Cos i dont wanna risk having breakouts for fairer skin.
The Derma Rx Illuminator sounds really impressive! Just what i need! Can Pan, fornight and joce tell me more??? :sotong: 8O
There are 2 whitening products. 1 is called Illuminator. The other is called the Natural Whitening Cream. One of them requires a prescription, the other doesn't. I'm not sure which one is meant for what skintypes, but I'm pretty sure that one of them is NOT sold off the shelves.Originally posted by fornight
