IPL has various degree of treatments, depending on your need..the light frequency treatment has can go from hair removal to treating of acne on just one machine..by just adjusting the frequency for the different deficiency..

Anyone knows or experienced burn by IPL treatment for pigmentation. What to do if face is burn?

Usually the nurse and doctor will not get your face burnt. They are there to observe and if there's anything wrong, they will do something about it immediately. When i did mine, the nurse was there to look after me and make sure that everything was fine.

As I read through the thread, there are people said that because the settings of the heat is too high and their face got burnt. So what is the next step to do if such thing happen? Will it leave a permanent scar?

Normally when i go for ipl, after the first zap they will ask you is there any pain. If really is un-bearable pain, ask for lower temp.

Hi, how many sessions of IPL do I need before I can see results? 3? 5? I have acne scars all over my face and a dark spot (liver spot??) on my cheek.

Also, where should I go? National Skin Centre? Singapore Aesthetics Centre? Anyone been to NeuGlow? They're doing a talk on IPL (www.neuglow) and I'm wondering whether to check them out and save on consultation fee, hee hee...
