    Default Clariancy DIY beauty devices

Has anyone tried any of the DIY beauty devices such as their portable IPL machine, hand held laser etc from Clariancy? They have outlets in Bishan and Jurong Point. Am interested to get one for maintenance. Any reviews??

their devices certainly looks interesting but the prices are not cheap.. great if it works, but too pricey to start..

I agree! I went to their store and the devices look too plastic-ky and light to be worth their prices.. But am a little intrigued to try it out since it promises same professional results if the devices are used frequently..

Though am still hesitant as there aren't many reviews about its efficacy on the skin.. don't wanna waste my money.

    shall wait for more reviewS!

hi ladies, May i know which product are u looking at?

i went to their showroom at mandarin gallery.. indeed are ex but it's peanuts compared to those package in salon.. provided it works of cos! seriously all the product market themselves so well in terms of their long term effect and savings in the long run.. and it's ex to get all of them. for me im interested in their permanent hair reduction (elos) $1000+ and the wellay hair laser $500+.. been research on them online thru vid and review.. other than that.. all the facial.. massage products look gd.. ever thought sharing w friends to reduce your DAMAGE if you buy? or sharing w ppl in forum?

Hi ladies! I saw this discussion so decided to share my experience.

I bought the Microdermabrasion kit. I would say it's really a professional set that gives results with just 1 use. I've used it for about 6 times so far? Skin is definitely smoother, clearer and less dull. Background of my skin: Plenty of bumps on my forehead (stress-induced) and enlarged pores are my cheeks. Sensitive skin. Due to stress-induced bumps, even if I go for monthly facial extractions, they reappear within the week and drive me nuts.

They advised me to use it once every 3 weeks because my skin is very thin but I'm too vain and I used it every week.

The first 3 times I used it, my skin had abrasion wounds around my eye lids because I didn't know how to use it properly and probably hovered the same spot for too long. So word of precaution - it works but don't overdo it. Watch their prep video before using the equipment. Hope this helps!

I got it at $285 in September but I just checked their facebook and they're having an offer now. ZZZ

As I saw the advertisement on facebook, I just read up on it and went to the Raffles Hotel branch to purchase it. They didn't recommend anything else. But I bought the refills cos I didn't want to make another trip down just to get refills.

i have post review and reviewing still on another forum but for the benefit of other forum user repeating here.

hi, it is my first time using after buying it for so many days.. did on my legs, arm, armpit. the package came with a CD user manual and video. basically it's more difficult to do on the backside on the legs and arm, where it is not so easily reachable. i recommend wearing sunglasses when using cos the flashes are bright and red.. as for heat / pain wise, it can be tolerable not as pain as i thought. it fact it's really not pain. just some heat when it flash and u won't be flashing the same area twice or on the same area.. ididn't want to go over too many time (to save my flashes)... will do again in 10-14 days.
Just finished my session. Shortly into 2nd session saw cartridge drop to 80%... *shrugs
Not sure how much the cartridge cost but u read online up to 5400 flashes or 3 full body. I have a question. Does it mean 5400 flashes for low intensity or 5400 for high. Or 5400 irregardless of which settings. Devilz, do u have any idea? How much u bought it for? Can it be used on face? I rmb somewhere there's a facial kit. Yet I also vaguely rmb the lady said can be used on face... I'm glad there's someone to share experience. Which part of body u doing on , devilz?
i guess it some time to evaluate the effectiveness ... 2 full body session and left 80% shld be quite reasonable since online stated one cartridge last 3 full body...and im still getting used to handling it. kinda clumsy

Do u use it with the shaver or the epilator? Which do u think will give a better result? I was told by the lady that this is for body use only..must get another facial kit if want to use on face.

I used the attached shaver followed by the elos on my leg,the hair still grows out..oh well I just have to try and zap them again in another week..I wonder if it really works?!
Do post your progress here ok?
    Thanks for sharing

I use the elos on its own. Prior to that I shave. I prefer to use my shaver in the bath.. It won't affect the treatment will it? I don't expect to just start to use it no need to shave. I guess we just have to observe the reduction slowly.. U use once a wk or 2 wks?

Hi Jolene, how much are the refills? How often do you have to change them?
