Anyone managed to get rid of your pigmentation and freckles on your face? Where and how did you do and how much did it cost you in all to totally get rid of it?
I have big patches on the sides of my face and after trying for so many years, it seem that creams and facials with treatments do not work unless it's by a certified professional doctor? But I'm afraid it could be costly and wonder if there'll be side effects.
Can someone share please? TIA.
If you are afraid of the cost, go to a polyclinic and get a referral to the National Skin Centre. Go for the subsidised service. You will have to Q for the polyclinic and NSC appt. But the charges should be a lot more reasonable than going to a GP or private doc. Since your patches are big, you should go for a dermatologist rather than GPs. Some aesthetic docs are not fully qualified dermatologists so your best bet should be to go to NSC.
It may not be possible to totally get rid of it though but lightening it should be achievable.
Don't waste more time and $$$ going for facials or over-the-counter products.
Invest in a good sunscreen - the most important not to let the pigment get worse.
But there are people who did the laser after sometime it comes back and worse than before. Many people here had done the laser before, please share your experience.
