What skin-loving items did you buy today?![]()
Tried both the BM cream and gel some time ago when I read about them in a magazine.
Initially I only bought the gel and used it day and night, but ended up with a face full of itch and rash. I called the distributor who advised me to use the gel in the day and cream at night. However, I scrutinized the list of ingredients for the cream but didn't have to go far since the 2nd ingredient listed is rated highly comedogenic in four different websites. The distributor assured me that both BM products won't induce acne or clog pores, thus I decided to give it another try. Yes, yes, extremely foolish, but this is the level of confidence I have in Israeli's technology!
I tried all sorts of permutations and combinations. Gel day and night, gel at night only, gel day only, gel day and cream night, cream day and night, cream night only, cream day only.
Result? Pimples, big and small, whiteheads, blackheads, itch, rashes, plus some unidentified bumps that didn't look like acne or feel like a rash.
Still, skincare is very much a "YMMV" matter, thus others' reaction may differ.

Jimi, fo update us on the BM. i read that the gel is for day use and the cream is to be used at night. did you get the cream as well?
i bought LUSH's angels on bare skin. i love lavender and rose and would quickly snap up anything with either ingredient in it. have used it twice so far. it leaves my skin clean and clear. it's not fantastic but i do like it.![]()
i'm getting more interested in trying out LUSH stuff which leaves me to conclude that we're (i'm sure it's not just me) usually more intrigued with things which are hard to get hold of.![]()
Hi mich,
I only bought the gel.....the ingredients in the cream look to heavy to me, especially since the 2nd ingredient contain Isopropyl Palmitate. The gel is not moisturising enough to me...
I read the review from blossomcharm..I a bit scared already...
If got any slight adverse reaction, i want to stop already![]()

I thought this one is from Denmark.
The origins - the baby's nappy rash and the pharmacist Daniel Bar crushing the peptic ulcer tablets, etc etc - happened 19 years ago in Israel.Originally posted by Jimi_Asmara

Heh its green but it looks ok when you apply it on the skin...in fact I feel that when applied on the skin it makes you look fairer... and I am loving it cos it really evens out your skin tone! One complaint that I have is that it is not as moisturising as i thought it would be (as the RMK base )cos some of dehyrated areas still looked quite flakey but maybe its because i didnt apply enough... will try again tmr but its a good buy if ur face aint that dry and u want an even skin tone! I think that if u have relatively good and clear skin, this can even be a foundation....
