All about Masks and Masking!

1. How often do you use a mask?
1-10 times in 3 months (because I always forget and I'm rather lazy tbh)

2. Which brand of mask do you use?
Tried skinlite, kose black mask, my beauty diary, faceshop, bought the honey mask from etude house, the ki mask from hong kong cai fung hong.

3. You usually left the mask on for how long?
1hr

4. Do you prefer rinse-off, peel-off or paper mask?
paper. peel off is quite fun, but after my experience with kose making my skin v oily afterwards... hmm. but the feeling of peel off is shiok. rinse off i like those exfoliating scrubs.

5. Do you use eye mask? Which brand is it?
tried a brand which i cannot rmb from nishino pharmacy, like no difference ***. and the one from etude house also no diff.

6. What is your holy grail for mask and why?
So far I like my beauty diary and skinlite. Black pearl powder makes my face feel more moisturised and softer the next day! Sasa always got skinlite sale, 2 masks for $1.99

Black pearl mask is my favourite too. You can see the instant glow after using for 20 minutes. For me the effect can last for two days. So on alternate days i will either use the bird nest mask or other brands. Mild ones i will leave it on for half an hour, the richer ones i will leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes only.

I love masking but recently, I've been really lazy. I guess that for optimal results, you should mask your face every 2 - 3 days. I do exfoliate when i mask too. Do you girls do so? Btw, avid fan of MBD-amazing results for such an affordable price.

Other than MBD masks, there are so many other masks being launched in similar results and in cute packaging. I can hardly find my "only-one" anymore, so many are my favourites.

Sometimes i'm too lazy to exfoliate, but i heard that for best effect, you have to exfoliate so that the skin can actually absorb the mask ingredients much better.

i have tried sexylook and realised it's not as hydrating as MBD.
also, the cutting is a bit small, so i feel my face is huge! hee, had to stretch the mask to hook them over my ears...
but i like the hooks, makes it felt so secure

Yes, i find that MBD is more hydrating too. It brightens and even up the skin tone by about 70% each time i use it.

The mask sheet has got a light sweety scent, soaked with alot of essence.



It is a mask sheet with double ear hooks. One pair to be stretched from the face to the ear. I could feel a little tightness on my face during the stretch. The ear hooks and the stretch ensures the mask sheet fitted nicely onto my skin.



Another pair of ear hooks was from the chin and upper neck, stretched all the way to my ears. It was meant to lift my jaws line and double chin, to create the lifting effect!



the masking session was relaxing. The mask sheet seemed a little small for my face because after hooking, the mask was stretched until my nose area wasn’t fully in contact with the mask sheet. But this wasn’t a bit issue for me, the area which I wanted to target on was my cheeks with pigmentation and dry surface.

The whitening result on my freckles were not obvious but the overall whitening effect on my skin and neck was very obvious!

Lotsa whitening essence (Camellia) remained on my skin even after the mask sheet was removed. No rinsing was required and I slowly gave my skin a little massage while it absorbed the essence.It was only when the essence was fully absorbed, then I saw the instant bright-up on my face!

Skin was well-hydrated and felt supple after masking. I like the double lifting effect during mask, it sure acts as a maintenance masking tool to avoid double chin and saggy cheeks!

I've recently tried Ciracle Hydration Facial Mask and they are really good. Very moisturing and lifts up my skin.

Here I would like to find out : -

For deep cleansing mask, how many times per week does we have to do?
For facial sheet mask, how many times per week does we have to do? Or this has to be done after each deep cleansing mask session?
How about, if we have Laneige water sleeping pack EX on hand, how many times per week can we have to use?
