Big bumps n clogged pores!!!help!

i like to use differin gel to prevent bumps n clogged pores. these things happen because the skin is secreting too much oil but not being exfoliated often enough. differin gel helps to clear and prevent it. i got mine from the doctor at skinlab medical but you can get yours from your derm or doctor.

n another thing is not to over moisturize the area. like if you think your moisturizer is too oily for a certain part of your face, its good to change it..

hi homemadehoney, does Differin helps to unclog clogged pores? Those bumpy kinds? I used to use Differin long time ago when I had acne problems (inflamed pastules and all). I still have now, but I'm looking to unclog the clogged pores on my chin area.

Currently using Paula's Choice 2% BHA but doesn't seem to be helping much. Thinking of trying Differin again. A little afraid of the initial break out though.

Hi gals, i do hv the same problem as yours.
My congestion area normally at my forehead and chin...
Recently i've tried some DIY method which have improved my forehead, but my chin still need some time to cure it.. May be you gals can try out?

1. Green bean(mung bean) powder mask - mix the green bean powder w water and make it into paste, then apply directly on clean face. Rinse off w water after 10-15mins. You can also add in some pearl powder

2. Bedak Sejuk mask - not sure if you gals know "bedak sejuk"? It is in choc chip shape which made from rice. Add some water into 4-5pcs of bedak sejuk, make it into paste and apply on clean face. Rinse off w water after 5mins(cannot leave it too long as the face will be dry)

i also have alot of clogged pores n i tried using clay mask but cant get rid of them, can anyone gif more suggestions how to remove them?

Hi gals, I just replied another thread but I don't mind sharing my experience again.

I used to have acne and clogged skin esp chin area. Blackheads & whiteheads around nose area. My friend from the US recommend me this brand called "M2 skincare" which has a serum called "Skin Refinish". I used it for a week and my acne has improved a lot. Less blackheads & whiteheads. Even some friends asked me what did I do on my face. I also apply the M2 moisturizer. What makes Skin Refinish 20% work is mandelic & malic acid which has anti-baterial function. I have some peeling for the start but after a short while, my skin looks very clear and radiant.

I used to order from a US website but M2 Skin care is available in a Singapore online shop now. Give it a try if u are troubled by acne, scarring, blackheads and large pores. It works on me .
