tiffy Do you think you can use the Cleansing Express Conc Wash as a cleansing foam/gel instead? Like use it after makeup removal with cleansing oil??
prettyeagle: oh no, i use like a makeup remover, sort of a substitute for CO. after that followed by a cleanser.
i thought it is more like a makeup remover.. no? so it's a cleanser?![]()
tiffy: yeah i agree with pretty eagle..it's more like a cleanser to me.. i dun think its a full fledged makeup remover coz the label says it can only remove light makeup..
the ad in cleo recommends 3 ways to use it
1) as daily cleanser like normal facial wash
2) to remove light base makeup
3) after oil makeup removal to reduce the drying effects of double cleansing.
and all those i know are using it as a facial cleanser!![]()
yeah fancl is good...jus pricey..guess there must be a reason why they are no.1 on cosme.net!![]()
bootyloot: oh man! i am so blur! not sure how did i read and mistook it as a CO.
thanks for the clarification!
thanks prettyeagle!

tiffy Haha thats why I was quite blur because it was marketed as a cleanser instead of a makeup remover :D
prettyeagle: i am the blur one!![]()
tiffy Do you think the conc wash is drying like a foam? Planning to get it but am worried it will dry my skin out like Mandom Facial Foam.
prettyeagle: ya, kinda drying.
i have been using it on my left hand to remove any LF during makeup.
seems like my left hand is drier than right hand when i am in aircon room.
i won't recommend this cleanse for those with dry skin.
tiffy Oh dear I guess I better stick to gel cleansers in that case. Recently my skin is rather dry and that caused flaky skin around my noseSigh! Thought this cleansing express conc wash will be suitable.
prettyeagle: i think the skin will become dry in the long term usage.
you may want to get a sample/travel-sized to try out, perhaps it will suit you.
after using it, i don't think it suits me.
and it actually stings my eyes, not a very good point for a cleanser.
tiffy Thanks for the advice! Maybe will try to look out for the sample sized one haha, hmmmm yeah I agree, cleansers which sting the eyes are terribleI hate those cleansers with strong menthol too, they sting my face AND eyes!
yeah pretty eagle, why don't you get the travel size one to try out first...been using it for a month n some people have been commenting that my skin looks better...
i have combi skin and it did feel a bit drying to me initially but was quickly resolved by using just one pump of wash instead of 2.
budden again, maybe my skin is just oilier haha
its okay! to each his own HG facial cleanser! haha
tiffy, prettyeagle: wad are your HG facial cleansers to use for double cleansing??
bootyloot I change my facial cleansers very often because I like trying out new brands but I never fail to return to Eucerin Dermopurifier Cleanser! It is my favorite, doesnt dry out skin, is very very gentle and cleans well.
bootyloot: my HG double cleansing tools/products are, Fancl MCO, Fancl washing powder, Fancl washing puff!
these 3 are the only products i use from Fancl.
I agree with you prettyeagle. Previously i was using TBS facial foaming cleanser from e whitening range. It was so drying for my face, felt tight and dryness. So i gave conc wash a try. Man, i felt the same tightness and dryness on my face. Luckily i got the sample size.
