This sounds weird but the best hydrating effect for me comes from MAC Amplified lipstick!
It's weightless, no waxy feel yet, dry skin sloughs off immediately with this, lips feel so soft. I swear I can feel a cooling effect like water evaporating when the wind blows.
current fave: Smith's Rosebud Salve
tried LSOB but it turned gritty and grainy in the tube. still love the scent though.
formerly used Bonne Bell in assorted flavours. semi-decent job of moisturising only though.
old fave was Cherry Vaseline Lip Therapy. nothing else worked better during the harsh winter months!
I haven't tried many others, but I do like Avon and Bonne Bell lip balms.
Good old vaseline looks best for me, especially in my parched office place![]()
Currently using and loving Jack Black Intense Therapy lipbalm with natural mint and shea butter (SPF25) - don't know if they sell it in Singapore though?
Don't know if this is going to sound strange, but I think BabyPink's lipglosses really keeps my lips supple!Perhaps it is due to its stickiness it acts as a barrier to keep moisture in. After having BabyPink on my lips the whole day, my lips feel so soft. No dry feeling, no peeling whatsoever

ChiliPadi! That Jack Black sure looks great! Care to do a little review on it?![]()
I'm looking for tinted lip balms or even just really light lipglosses. I run track and I need something that'll keep my lips from drying out and adds a little color at the same time.
Any rec's?
I love Eyeko's tinted Fat Lipbalm in Raspberry & Strawberry!![]()
Cute and portable and nice, lovely scents!![]()
You must definitely try Eyeko's tinted Fat Balms - available in Strawberry, Raspberry, Mint! Gives you really natural-looking tint, and smells yummy!![]()
hmm.. i used to search high and low for the perfect tinted balm but gave up cos they always dry out my lips. could try bodyshop born lippy lipbalm..the strawberry one's YUMMY and gives a slight reddish tinge. for sheer glosses, try baby pinkOriginally posted by misslipgloss

I use Clinique Tinted Superbalms all day. They are moisturising with a nice glossy shine, only not very pigmented. I've got Mango Tint and Raspberry Tint.
Or since you're in the US, how abt the Bonne Bell Dr Pepper Lipsmacker? I've got this and it has a nice pretty reddish tint, although I don't really like the artificial smell.
Threads merged, misslipgloss. I think you can find useful answers here
Thanks to a lovely US swapper who knows I have pertually chapped lips, I manage to try out Prada's lip tint. I love it! I'm using the one in Berry and glides on beautifully on my lips. No sticky feeling. Onething is it comes with spf.
Labello comes tinted as well. Nothing to scream about but does a decent job of moisturising.
CopperBoomer-> You got me interested in Eyeko's tinted Fat Balms after hearing you rave once again about this product. Can I ask where is this selling and how much?
