I am heading down to watson tonight to get one bottle. Hope they finish deco the counter..
I previously tried the product from the tester bottle placed on the shelf... tried it on my hand and dead skin was surfacing after use. But my skin felt smoother and brighter.
I headed down to watsons today, planning to grab a bottle.
Unfortunately, the shelf was under maintenance coz of a loose screw.
Hopefully the shelf + product will be back on the shelf by tmr, so I can buy one!![]()

Passby Watson @NAC just now. Saw only a few bottles left. Surprise that i didn't see any SA around today. Maybe went for lunch.
Went to NAC yesterday... tried on my colleague's hand but nothing came out ***... cannot be his hand so clean right?!??? tried on mine, got some, probably because I was playing with makeup on my hand before that. It's really gentle though.
Hey, anyone interested to win a free Cure Natural Aqua Gel? 3 are available for giveaways. Check details in my post here. Until 30 Nov 2008.
i tried both ginvera marvel gel and this Cure Natural Aqua Gel, although my skin feel smooth and bright after using, i still prefer Ginvera one tho, which is more effective in "rubbing" away the dead skin and also abit bit of whitening too![]()
I also tried the Ginvera one in the past but I prefer Cure. It is more gentle on my skin. Ginvera uses AHA which is harsh for our skin. That's why you will see a lot of dead skin because the acid is also removing not only your dead skin but also the skin below it. For me, I am no longer young, my skin cannot take strong chemicals.
With Cure, I do not need to use strength to "rub" away the dead skin. I spread it around my face and leave it on for 10 to 20 seconds. The gel will react and dissolve the dead skin turning it whitish. I just gently massage in circular motion to remove the dead skin.
when i tried the Cure Aqua gel, i did leave it on my skin for 10+sec as instructed but it did not turn whitish, only when i rubbed / massage, the gel turn into whitish bitsam i using it correctly?
OTT :
hi blackdeath, mean no harm here but when i read your past posts, you mentioned something that the company you work for bring in products and distribute to chains like Watson's or Guardian.. Is this Cure Aqua Gel one of your company product?

I bought this gel and I compare it with my laneige strawberry peeling gel. I feel that somehow the strawberry peeling gel seems to rub out more dead skin and so on. Asked SO to try and he says he feel that there are much more particles when using the laneige one. No breakout from both and face is smooth after using both, somehow I prefer the laneige one as it brighten my skin as well.![]()
Totally love this product! I first obtained the samples from fr3b.com and fell in love with it! Maybe it's because I've sensitive skin and most peeling products are too harsh on my face. But this product is really gentle! Just bought my new bottle from the Watsons outlet at Takashimaya!![]()
Hi Milkie, there is nothing wrong with the way you are using. Sometimes it will turn whitish and this varies from person to person and gentle rubbing will produce whitish bits. If you test it twice on your same hand, there will be no reaction the second time. This is because the ingredient in Cure will only react to the unnecessary protein (dead skin) and once the unneccesary protein is removed, there will be no reaction. It is different with other peeling products that contains strong acid like AHA which will melt every protein layer. IMHO, I would not want to use acid as a agent to remove my dead skin. No doubt it works but at what cost. There are a lot of brands in the market that can remove dead skin so it is prudent to check the ingredients.
Yes, I used to work for that company. I was invited to attend the product demonstration. It was an eye opener. Learn a lot from the demonstration about the product and company (Toyo Life) that makes it. Toyo Life has been selling this product for 7 years and they didn't spend a single cent on A&P. It is spread by word of mouth. Every 20 seconds, 1 bottle is being sold in Japan. Not sure if you have heard of @cosme. It is THE online store for beauty products in Japan. After 7 years, it is still ranked top 5 under the peeling section (http://cosme.net/ranking/search/item.../desc/offset/0)
Sorry for such a lengthy post and I do not mean any offense. I just want to share what I learned.
hmm... was at isetan scotts basement pharmacy on monday and bought cure too. hope that it is the same as mentioned here. was using ginvera gel for 1 yr before i gave up. am in the wrong side of 30 and do feel that ginvera gel, though it remove dead skin, but also somehow hurt e "new" skin. e sa told me need not use cure everyday and so only use it twice since monday, actually tuesday & this morning. my face do look brighter and *** easier for my moisturiser to absorb. will use for few more weeks to check on e effect before recommend to friends and colleagues. think we all need it as age is catching up and dead skin compiling. :-(
u're right, as we grow older.. our skin mature and more dead skin forms and accumulates. Thats why we need to remove them safely. And by doing so, we are helping to increase our skin turnover too.
And cure is good coz its mainly water. I tried using other exfoliators before.. caused redness due to the beads-like contents or AHA in it. Bad for people with sensitive skin.
