gah that is absolutely gross!Originally posted by jemay
erm... i dunno, smaller n lighter black than ants, dunno what the XXXX is that :piss::puke: not gonna touch makeup remover wipes now!
i like the convenience of makeup remover wipes. espeically after a long day's work , i just want to plonk down on bed and go to sleep. washing the face doesn't take too long but i can get so lazy! bad bad michannat.![]()
i've used comodynes and i like this. one sheet is big enough for removing MU except for mascara. i tried loreal and biore and both stung my face. i keep a packet in my bag. they are especially handy when you're travelling, at the beach or after a long long day and you just want to wipe away the grime on your face. but don't keep a packet too long after you've opened them. i find that they dry up.... perhaps then creating a cosy, conducive environment for unknown creatures to live in.
hey Mich, is the comodynes version good at removing waterproof mascara?![]()
hi xue, for mascara esp waterproof, i would stick to a cleansing oil for complete removal. i don't really recommend venturing to the eye area with the wipes. all the wiping and tugging might not be ideal for cleaning mascara. i'm really paranoid about getting more lines on my eye area. even when i go for MDX, i'll skip the eye area. must treat it with plenty of TLC.Originally posted by ataraxia

but as far as makeup wipes go, i like comodynes as it's a fairly large sheet and it has one for sensitive skin which sweetmango uses.
is MAC good? but it's just too expensive to maintain!
Luv the J&J pH 5.5 wipes! Very gentle!
I usually use Shu Uemura cleansing oil first, then use J&J wipes. My skin is extremely clean then! J&J wipes ROCKS!
not sure if it's already suggested, but i like l'oreal's rebalance wipes - they smell really nice. they smell like fruit juice + milk!
I like it - cleans really well but I need 2 sheets for heavy m/u. Also not really reccomended for the eye area though I'm guilty of using these on the eyes @ timesOriginally posted by michannat

Dear Stella told me that the wipes pkg goes towards Back2MAC, so in a way it's worth it to buy them ($22 for 40 sheets iirc).
thanks for the info mag. might try them one day if budget permits.Originally posted by makeupmag

hi beautifuls, newbie here.
i've heard a lot about shisedo cleansing wipes - supposed to clean really well and gently + does not leave a sticky residue.
i'll be trying it soon!
lauren, do let us know after you've tried. i'm always keen to try more wipes because of their convenience. thanks girl.![]()
Oh yes. This Loreal wipes were my first try and I'm in love with it. So simple and easy. They have added moisturizer in the wipes that doesn't make the face oily after the wipe, just moist. No more messy oily face after removing makeup...Thank god ppl invented these wipes..Originally posted by claypot

the BEST EVER that i've tried.
*no sticky after-feel*
*skin has absolutely no feeling of tautness/tightness*
*skin actually feels clean, soft & almost moisturized after*
... but the SA still told me to tone n' moisturize after of course
& when i did use my toner, it hardly produced any residue at all even though i had 'the works' on my face today!
it's the best i've ever ever ever tried. (have tried almost every pharmacy-bought brand)
You gals have got to try it!!!!!!!!!!![]()

Wow, lauren..that does sound very good. It's RM69 for 30 sheets here in Malaysia. Really expensive compared to J&J pH 5.5 which is RM20 for 30 sheets...
yah i know it's really quite expensive but it doesn't sting my face or make it feel sticky/tight so i think it's worth it! i used to get J&J free because i know someone who works there... but i hate it.Originally posted by Ariel

i'm only using it when i really need it... like in the car, plane... on the move... so don't think i'll be using it up quick.![]()
I use one daily as the last step in removing my makeup so one box only lasts me a month. Shiseido's definitely expensive to maintain![]()
