    sunkisstiffy!

hm... i shall start my review~

    Laneige Water Sleeping Pack Plus

You don't really need a lot of this on your face, just use slightly more than you would with your normal moisturizer and off you go to bed. I like to massage it in into my face and quite frankly, your face feels quite smooth and supple immediately. It has a slight sticky feeling which goes off really fast once the mask has been absorb by the skin, so no worries about dirtying my pillows or having hair stuck to my face!

My routine with this is the normal cleanser-toner-serum-moisturizer-mask and I go to sleep. The SA told me I can apply a thick amount on the face for 20 minutes and wash it off, but then again I have sheet mask for it, so I shall stick to overnight-leave-in-treatment for my skin. :D

The next morning, my skin isn't as oily and using a really mild cleanser or just warm water is suffice to clean the skin. Skin remains supple and smooth throughout the whole day.

I like the fact that it is very easy to use and if I am lazy, I can just skip the toner, serum and moisturizer and lather this on straight away after cleansing and I can go to sleep and still wake up to great looking skin!

I took this with me on my Hanoi trip and because I sleep in air-conditioned room and with the crazy hot and humid weather there, my skin isn't really looking too good. With this, it retains enough moisture and helps to calm my skin after being under the sun almost the whole day. :D No dry, parchy, flaky skin!

I copy this from my review blog

will be updating my masking experience in this thread time to time! :D

Default TFS raspberry roots collagen eye patch

TFS raspberry roots collagen eye patch!

my eyes are seriously very puffy and red. after the eye patch, the eye bags are still puffy but less puffy. the redness is till there. SA told me to use it often, i have 3 more pairs to go, hopefully can see a better result.

while having the eye patch on, i feel some tightness on the eyebags where the patch was applied.

there's no rinse needed and i proceed with my usual moisturizer skincare.

    masked the ginseng mask!

    before masking:
it is difficult to open up the plastic sheet. it doesnt tear open easily & the mask fit nicely in the plastic, unlike the wastons' mask. the smell is ginseng, not very strong, so should be able to get used to.

    during masking:
the sheet isnt like the wastons' type. it is more towards the olay type, though softer than the olay's. it doesnt drip nor move around the face. quite a big sheet too. the essence quick thick, there is still enough for my neck & legs.

    after masking for 15mins:
no itchness, calm my pimples as i am having a couple of pimples. hydrating too.

for $9.90, i say it is not bad a mask. at the price of the oringal $40.90, i say skip it.

it is a mask that i will continue to use if wastons sell at $9.90. in fact, i got 2 boxes.

Default My Beauty Diary Q10 mask

    review on MBD Q10 mask.

:: the fragrance is sweet and fruity.
:: in terms of hydrating, not much. i can feel the tightness in my skin after 20mins. usually for other MBD masks, the masks are still quite wet after 20mins.
:: no brightening effect, both on the moment i removed the mask, and when i woke up.
:: my skin does feel supple after removing the mask.
:: after massaging the essence into my skin, my face still feel sticky.

Q10 mask's purpose is for: anti-aging (i can't observe yet), anti-oxidant(guess so), firming(not sure if the tightness i have felt is due to firming, or lack of hydration), moisturizing(yes, i can feel a layer of essence after massaging), regenerating(not sure), softening(yes).

    Nivea masks (in satchets)
    I tried most of them.
The peel-off masks are useless. When you peel it, nothing really comes off.
The wash-off masks are ok. I think there was a Vitamin C one that i liked.

    Don't think will try again.

    Watsons fruity masks (sheet mask)
Very watery. Soaking wet in the packet and flows down on the face. -.-'. I only tried the rosewater one recently. Hydrating. Very generous amount of essence. A little sticky after usage. Very nice smell. I'm not sure whether perfume in masks are good for skin or not though.

My skin was a little irritated due to my intensive scrubs lately. I wanted something to calm and nourish my skin. I was surprised after peeling it off. Skin was very calm and well-nourished. But do not expect it to be lasting till next day.

    Would buy again if cheap.

    Neutrogena hydrating mask (sheet mask)
I forgot the exact name. But Neutrogena masks are not famous for nothing. Very hydrating. I think it was a little stinging for me but hydrating effects definitely great. But I only use these for special occasions.

Willing to splurge on to get effects.

Garnier/Pure and Lightening mask (satchet not sheet mask)
Garnier Pure is good. I forgot it's peel mask or washoff. It's for cleaning impurities in skin.
Garnier Lightening works well in brightening complexion. Is a washoff mask.

    Would get Garnier Pure again.

    Ginvera Green Tea mask(sheet mask)
Face + eye mask. Did nothing for my eyes but face is definitely hydrated. For the newer range, whitening is included. Generous with essence and essence is sticky. Might be stinging for some but bearable for me. Effects were obvious after usage. May be a little sticky on the face. Not much comments as i dun remember. But into my third box.

Would stock again if cheap (anyway they have frequent sales)

Cortry hydrating face + neck mask(sheet mask)
Cortry mask has a very strong herbal smell. It is always advised to be sampled before buying the whole box. Smell is bearable for me. If you are not keen on masks with strong smell and brown essence, this mask is not for you. Generally, i like their masks because it is said to aid in blood circulation on the face. My go-to mask when I look dead tired. It makes you feel refreshed in a different manner.

The neck mask is very useless (not in terms of effect, but in terms of design). If anyone finds a way to make it stick on the neck properly without falling off, do tell me how.

Would stock up again if cheap.

    Cortry eye mask(sheet mask)
Very sleep inducing. It aids in blood circulation in the undereye a little bit. Can see some effects after usage. But effects do not stay. The box advises to use the eye masks frequently in order to work. But as the eye masks are not cheap *coughs*, I cannot afford to do so. And it is getting more and more expensive.

Anyone who spots it being sold cheap is welcome to PM me.

    Would get it again.

    Daiso Charcoal face mask (tube)
Cheap and good. Try not to use this on the face for too long as it tightens considerably. I've left it so long that i can feel my mouth cannot open. -.-' Very good for removing whiteheads and some facial hair. Blackheads didn't budge though. But using a deep cleansing mask before this to suck up impurities might work.

    Would get it again.

    THat's all for now. haha...

use a calming mask? something with aloe vera or cucumber...

i don't think it's ok to mask everyday.... Skin also break out if too rich...
But if you want to, try alternating different masks.
Day 1 hydrating, day 2 deep cleansing clay mask, day 3 whitening/up-lifting mask....

OBS mud pack nose mask from sasa

feel that my skin is smooth after using. odourless. SUPER SUPER COOLING which i like a lot a lot. it's a peel off mask so rather hassle free. cheap also.

    OBS charcoal mask from sasa

after using the mud nose pack mask, i think i don't like charcoal as much anymore. it is able to remove some whiteheads and blackheads but not as good as the daiso's charcoal mask (: it's cheap too. but for now i'll stick to my mud nose pack!

    TFS raspberry collagen eyemask

the only thing i like about it is that it's cooling.. otherwise it's like totally no effect on me at all. felt that i've seriously wasted my money buying this mask.

skinfood wash off mask (banana yoghurt)

i absolutely love the smell of this mask! skin feels soft and smooth after that. but it's not as good as the rice wash off mask. brightens and i feel whitens my skin.

    daiso charcoal mask

cheap and good. but whenever i leave it for too long it'll hurt when i peel off.

    TFS pearl powder mask

this is relatively expensive. you're supposed to mix the powder with water and mask your own peel off mask. i think it's not exactly worth the money and i felt it only cools my skin and maybe make it smooth too. it's not easy to mix, may can get clumpy and messy so.. not recommended.

i shall review other masks later on. super lazy now

review for the $9.90 Wai Yuen Tong pearl mask!

before masking: noticed that the essence is white. the powdery smell is light, so no complaints. the essence is thick & enough for my neck, legs & arms.

during masking: i find it okok, not as nice as the wastons' fruity mask. maybe because of the smell? not sleep inducing nor relaxing for me.

after 20mins of masking: thats when the goodness of the mask come in! i noticed that my skin tone is brighter & fairer!

overall: worthy for the $9.90 price tag! i find it better than the neutrogena whitening mask!
