I am looking forward to their store! The first time I tried Kiehls product was when they were still located at Tangs in Ngee Ann City. hopefully with this flagship store, there will be wider range of products.

I love the service at kiehl's!!
The lady SA (I forgot her name) is so amazing...she greets everyone along her way and explains every thing to me clearly without sounding pushy or pompous. Plus she has amazing skin and she gladly offered me samples and tried on creams on my hand!

    I bought....

    -tea tree oil shampoo
    -blue herbal toner

and grabbed 2 moisturiser samples. They ran out of the Abyssinal cream sample though....and the latter is 70ish!! Sigh. Can't wait to return back to the store...

Cheryl dear, please review on the Herbal blue toner! I was so tempted to get it but I *just* got the L'Occitane Lavender Lotion!

A lady SA attended to me as well and I must say she knows her products well! Was she with long shoulder length hair and quite fluent in her english?

Sure! So far it's working great...then again my skin has already started getting better after I changed my skincare.

Oh and the SA that attended to me has short hair...but I do think that all of the SAs there are as attentive and knowledgeable as the one that attended to me. It's great service there I must say! The SA that attended to me mentioned that she was flying for 11 years...so they probably pick SAs of the best service and experience.

The SA tried the herbal blue toner on my hand and it's pretty "alcoholic".Felt it like could be quite stinging on the face.

Would it totally dry out the skin like the reviews from the other cotters in this thread? Thanks for the review!

I would say that it's only slightly stinging if your skin has an open or broken spot. It's not as drying as those neutrogena acne cream...a far cry from that. So no drastic peeling either... and it has shrinked my zit a little. Oh but it's not recommended to apply to your whole face. I say, apply it longer on your zits. But leave out the rest of your face..or simply lightly sweep through the slightly-breakout prone areas.
Why didn't you get the sample anyway?

I say...try the sample of the moisturiser first if you really want it. Because Im afraid that using both might be too drying. I would not use both...plus many of the other creams are too oily or heavy for breakout-prone and oily skin. So I'd rather buy a lighter and cheaper lotion elsewhere.

The toner is only $20 for the smallest size which is great because you wont need a lot either..

well theres no harm although I think that it should be used lightly if all over...and maybe try twice a day and if too drying then use it once a day? Anyway, hope you grab some good stuff from Kiehl's!

Thanks! I might give it a try when my IPSA preparing lotion runs out! Its already nearing the base.. a few more centimetres more! Maybe using lightly all over would also help me save toner and make it last longer

Yeap, I think kiehls should be ok!

Has anyone tried Kiehl's eye cream?
I am tempted to get the Light, nourishing eye cream from them as I constantly stay in air-conditioned places and sometimes my eyes can feel a little dry.

Asked for a sample and as usual, they ran out of it! But I guess I want to hear from some cotter's reviews if any!
    Thanks girls!

i went to Kiehl's solely to buy the famous lipbalm.. they've got one in SPF 4 and one in SPF 15. the latter comes in tinted forms as well.

sad to say i don't really like my SPF 4 lipbalm that much. when i tested it on my hand it was non-greasy yet very glossy, yet when i put it on my lips i didn't like how it felt.. also realised that it's got petrolatum and lanolin in it. i think i'm just spoilt by my regular shea butter-type lip balms
