i heard vichy products has a lot of alcohol content so it will make dehydrated skin worse.

I guess most of the time fine lines refers to lines on forehead, frown lines, corner of eyes (crowsfeet) or smile lines.

Sounds like you have no lines to see AnnieY......

I have lots on my forehead....

Oh yes, i can see fine creases on the cheeks when my skin is dehydrated. I've used Estee Lauder's So Moist Deep Hydrating Mask for the past 3 yrs. It's a wonderful product to me! But seems to be discontinued. Managed to find one in Jurong East 2 mths back. But i suppose that's probably the last tube i can find...

I have the same problem too, add fine lines around the eye...and i have sensitive skin to boot. i'm not even 30!

i'm currently using aesop, SKII (strangely, i can use the whitening and treatment essence w/o any problem), juice organics and another online natural brand of skincare from US.

    My steps:
    1) Very gentle cleanser (+ cleansing oil when i have make-up)
    2) toner w/o alcohol or exfoliator
    3) water based antioxident serum or whitening essence
    4) hyaluronic acid serum
    5) camilia oil (depending on how 'hardworking' i am)
    6) sunblock or make-up base

They are laughter lines. As you get older, they would get deeper because the collagen production of your skin goes down with age. We cannot avoid it, all of us will get it sometime. Even a top plastic surgeon said he and his wife inject Botox regularly.

was just wondering that if we laugh/smile lesser, it would not get too deep?

i have the same problem, but my GP suggested radiofrequency instead.

purplecurlZ : if the surface has fine lines, very dry,and yet these areas will produce oil,it means surface dehydrated, oily inside.

That happens to my whole face
I control it somewhat with BHA and light moisturisers. So far so good.

But the general recommendation is to use "for all skin types" cleansers and exfoliate. Alcohol makes the problem many many times worse only.

i wish can put those BHA to help dissolve the clogs. Pity my skin is very sensitive with lotsa clogs too. I think i should create another new thread with "oily, dehydrated and sensitive skin."
    Terrible combo!!!

yes i agree, use a gentle cleanser, and avoid using toner that has alcohol or for exfoliating properties.
